In the heart of the Cinque Terre Ligurian typical rustic stone restored for tourist accommodation. We are located in the village of San Bernardino, 200 mt. share halfway between Vernazza and Corniglia. All the trails are easily accessible. The blue path n. 2 is 300 mt. To access the house is by 3 stairs through the olive grove. We have our private parking for 2 cars accessible by the road to Corniglia. The house Consists of two levels is located in a land with olive trees over 5 balsa stone accessible through a stone stairway. Downstairs is a large living room with fireplace. The kitchen is equipped with fridge, oven, dishwasher, microwave, sink, stove. There pots and pans. In the living room sofa converts to a comfortable double bed and TV 32 '. Satellite wifi it's available. On the ground floor a spacious bathroom with shower and washing machine. The first floor rooms are accessible via a spiral staircase in wood. Two bedrooms. The room blue bedroom with access to the terrace and sea view. The green room with a double bed and one sofa. Study have a single bed. A small bathroom with shower. The house can accommodate 5 people. Hot water with electric boiler 80 lt. and radiator heating with gas boiler. Outside chairs, table and umbrella are available. BBQ and wood oven. For Those arriving by train you can get a taxi transfer from La Spezia with luggage and the Possibility of shopping in a supermarket in La Spezia for the duration of the stay.

Maurizio, thank you for a wonderful stay. Everything was just as advertised. What a lovely location. Peaceful and quiet, with only the occasional barking of dogs and braying of donkeys to keep us company. Communication with Maurizio was seemless throughout the booking process through to our departure. The home was clean, well appointed and well equipped with all the conveniences of home. It was also nice to have TV with a choice of English news channels. The house is situated a short walk to San Bernardino and Corniglia and with easy access to the Cinque Terre trail both North and South. Parking is just off the road and access to the house is up a small hill, surrounded by olive trees and easily doable. We enjoyed the use of both outside terraces when the weather permitted. The downside is all the mosquitoes. Make sure you bring bug spray. We would certainly recommend a stay here.

Fantastic stay in a beautiful house. We loved the house and the location. The view over the ocean was amazing. We can also recommend the bar closeby. The only thing was that it took about 45 minutes walk along the path to get to the water to swim. But the walk to get there had a great view! So overall - great stay. We can recommend it!

We spent a wonderful week in Maurizio's holiday house which is located in a very quiet environment within the steep hills between Corniglia and Vernazza. In particular, we have enjoyed the beautiful hikes between the picturesque villages in the region and the exceptional view from the house onto the sea. Thank you for the great time!

alles was man braucht, war da. Leider auch Schnaken und Wespen. Wegen der Hitze war alles sehr aufgeheizt. Klimaanlage in den Schlafzimmern war hervorragend. Ansonsten stets alle Schotten dicht machen, dann kann man es aushalten. Wenn man die 66 Stufen vom Parkplatz bis zum Haus geschafft hat, sofort duschen. Sonst kommen die Stechmücken!

Das Ferienhaus liegt mit wunderbaren 180° Meerblick am Berghang im Olivenhain. Varnezza und Corniglia sind fußläufig (steil, 30-50 min) erreichbar .... mit dem Auto geht es schneller. Die Wohnungseinrichtung ist geschmackvoll und einfach, die Küche sehr gut ausgestattet. Man sollte nur beachten, dass die Einkaufsmöglichkeiten in 5 terre sehr beschränkt/teuer sind. Deswegen am besten gleich bei der Einreise mit Lebensmitteln zum Kochen eindecken. Nachts ist es ruhig, nur ab uns zu kurvt ein Auto die Sepentimen runter und ein Esel macht sich bemerkbar. Mückenspray hilft immer. Das WiFi ist OK, könnte etwas schneller sein, aber man kann ja auch mal ein schönes Buch lesen :-) ... oder einfach den perfekten Sonnenuntergang genießen. Wir hatten in diesem Freienhaus eine wunderbare Woche!

Das Haus hat eine super Lage als Ausgangspunkt für Wanderungen und einen tollen Blick auf das Meer.Es wurden oft die bellenden Hunde vom Nachbarn erwähnt,uns störten sie nicht.In so einer Gegend werden die grossen Grundstücke nun mal von Hunden bewacht und es schreit auch mal ein Esel.Wir würden das Haus immer wieder buchen.

Het is een stevige klim van de parkeerplaats naar het huis.De foto's van huis geven een goede weergave van de prachtige plek en de goede uitrusting.

Sehr gepflegtes und gemütliches Häuschen mit zauberhaftem Blick aufs Meer. Wir haben unser Urlaub richtig genossen. Auch die Nachbarshunden waren sehr artig und haben uns kaum gestört. Zum Baden sind wir nach Levanto gefahren, dort hat uns der Strand und auch das kleine Städtchen am meisten gefallen. Wir können das Haus zu 100% weiterempfehlen. Allerdings nur für Leute die mobil sind und Treppen steigen können.

Nous avons passé une semaine dans la propriété ! Celle-ci est très bien située comme point de départ pour visiter les Cinque Terre, surtout si vous avez envie de marcher et d'avoir un point de vue élevé sur les villages ! Il y a moyen de descendre à pied vers le "blue path" ou bien de prendre un bus à San Bernardino, située un peu plus haut. La maison possède tout ce qu'il faut et Maurizio est toujours à l'écoute pour nous satisfaire.

Mauricio was a great host and his house was wonderful. The only knock on the rental were having to do a lot of turning on gas and reading numbers but a small price to pay for the peaceful and scenic location. I highly recommend this if you want to escape the tourists on the cinque terre.

The villa is, as promised, located just a few hundred yards from the trails in the park, (although it’s a good idea to purchase a detailed trail map or topo). As it’s a good 900 feet above sea level the view over the sea - especially at sunset - from the terraces is magnificent! We were able to hike from the villa to each of the five towns and then take the train back to Corniglia and walk up the hill home (maybe 25 minutes from the train station - you can fortify yourself for the walk up the hill with a gelato in town). We spent most late afternoons outside in the sun enjoying the view. The mosquitoes were bad at dusk and chased us inside at dinner time. The bedrooms are clean and comfortable, with firm mattresses and good storage for clothes, and the blue bedroom is sunny and bright during the day if you wanted to stay inside and read. The stairs are steep and narrow - you’d have to rig barriers with small children. Living area inside was fine for the three of us but if you had a larger group you’d want to spend your time outside or it would feel cramped - there’s a sofa for three and a small dining table with wooden chairs in the living room area - but who would want to stay inside with that view? The kitchen is very well equipped and we made dinner at home several nights. We didn’t use the charcoal grill but all the materials needed were there (charcoal etc) and there is also a wood pizza oven that we were too intimidated to try! It’s also easy to park in Corniglia at night after most of the day tourists have gone and we ate dinner in town several times. It’s is a pretty steep walk from the car to the villa but we loved the path through the olive trees and it’s very well lit at night if you go out to dinner. I’d say the only thing we’d have really wanted to change was the neighbors dogs - directly across the street from the parking are two white dogs that barked constantly. Maurizio was a wonderful host, checking in to make sure everything was going well and his assistants met us to help us settle in. We’d highly recommend the villa if you’re looking for a beautiful, central place to base yourself while exploring or hiking in Cinque Terre.

Wer in dieser doch recht touristischen Gegend Ruhe (abgesehen von den zwei nervtötenden Hunden des Nachbarn - dafür kann aber der Vermieter nichts!), Abgeschiedenheit und ein wirklich gut ausgestattetes, sehr sauberes Haus sucht, wird hier sicher äußerst zufrieden sein... dennoch muss darauf hingewiesen werden, dass man schon eine recht gute Kondition haben sollte, um den Anstieg zum Haus, aber vor allem die wunderschönen Wanderwege bewältigen zu können. Das Auto ist zwar bedingt eine Alternative, obwohl man dann der Schönheit dieses Naturschutzgebietes sicher nicht sehr nahe kommt. Der Abstieg zum Meer dauert ca. eine knappe Stunde und zurück schon eher eine Stunde zu Fuß. Der schöne Strand von Guvano ist dabei wirklich nur Leuten zu empfehlen, die es gewohnt sind, sich im Gebirge (!!) zu bewegen. Den letzten Abhang hinunter zum Meer muss man tatsächlich an einem sehr provisorischen Gummiseil hinunterklettern! Und der Aufstieg ist wirklich steil, zum Teil eng und rutschig sowie sehr schweißtreibend. Angenehmer fanden wir es, im glasklaren Wasser in der Marina von Corniglia zu schwimmen, wobei man auch hier ziemlich viele Treppen hinunter- und wieder hinaufgehen muss. Das Haus belohnt mit einer spektakulären Aussicht auf das Meer! Einzigartig! Sonst entspricht alles genau den Fotos. Die Ausstattung ist perfekt und der Gesamtzustand sehr gepflegt... allerdings sind die oberen Räume sowie die Treppe eher eng. Die Kommunikation mit dem Vermieter ist äußerst unkompliziert und hilfreich.

Nous avons passons un très bon séjour dans cette maison pittoresque, en pleine campagne ,le logement bénéficie d'une vue splendide sur la mer, et le lieu est idéalement placé pour visiter les 5 terres loin de la foule sur tout en Aout . Le propriétaire a pensé à tout et l'équipement est confortable, propre et bien entretenu il manquerait juste la climatisation pour les périodes de forte chaleur ... je recommande aux familles et aux amoureux de la simplicité et de la nature !

Das Ferienhaus ist einmalig! Wir mieten seit vielen Jahren Ferienhäuser und haben noch nie ein so gut ausgestattetes Haus gehabt. Es war alles vorhanden. Die Terrasse mit diesem traumhaften Blick ist einfach super. Wir haben stundenlang Spiele gespielt und das Leben genossen. Der Weg zum FKK-Strand ist wirklich sehr abenteuerlich und nicht zu empfehlen.

Wunderschönes sehr gut ausgestattetetes Haus mit traumblick aufs Meer. Der Weg zum Haus ist steil und mit Gepäck oder Einkäufen eine Herausforderung an die Kondition aber oben angelangt wirst du belohnt mit einer gemütlichen Terrasse mit herrlichem Weitblick. Das Haus ist ausgezeichnet ausgestattet! Mauricio war sehr hilfsbereit und haben wir alles problemlos gefunden. Wir hatten zu viert wunderbare 10 Tage Urlaub in 5 Terre und kommen sicher wieder!

Wir waren im April in diesem Haus. Es bietet einen atemberaubenden Blick von der Terrasse aus aufs Mittelmeer. Die Ausstattung ist gut, praktisch mit den Kinder ist auch, dass eine Waschmaschine vorhanden ist. Mit dem Auto ist Corniglia in 4 Minuten zu erreichen. Uns persönlich gefällt Corniglia am Besten von den 5 Dörfern. Die Restaurants in denen wir gegessen haben, waren alle sehr gut (Preis/Leistung). Einziger Kritikpunkt: in der Nachbarschaft sind zwei Hunde, welche ab und an lange bellen... Wir können dieses Haus weiterempfehlen und der Gastgeber Maurizio war immer da, wenn offene Fragen waren.

Nous avons passé une magnifique semaine. La maison de Maurizio est très agréable et très confortable. Le paysage depuis la terrasse est exceptionnel. Et la maison est très bien équipée. Nous y étions fin avril et nous avons pu profité tous les jours de la terrasse et du jardin. Nous avons vraiment pu profiter de la région car à cette saison, il n'y a pas trop de monde. Nous avons pu faire qq randonnées en partant de la maison. Mais pour les courses et la visite des villages, il est nécessaire de prendre la voiture. A cette saison, il est facile de circuler et de se garer. Remonter le soir dans la maison est un enchantement ! Allez y.... c'est trop bien! Sophie.

La maison est située sur les hauteurs, entre Corniglia et Vernazza. Nous avions nos 2 enfants de 4 et 7 ans et avons pu laisser la voiture à la maison pour aller dans ces deux villages à pieds via le fameux "blue path". Une petite balade plus facile nous emmène sinon plus rapidement à San Bernardino où l'on profite d'une vue splendide sur Corniglia. La maison offre également une magnifique vue sur la mer, loin des flots touristiques. Le propriétaire Maurizio est très prévenant et hyper efficace en cas de besoin. Notre séjour était donc parfait et nous conseillons la maison aux amateurs de marche !

Fünf Sterne sind leider viel zu wenig, um die Ferienwohnung von Maurizio und vor allem Maurizio als Gastgeber gerecht bewerten zu können. Die Wohnung ist wunderschön gelegen unterhalb des Bergdorfes San Bernhardino mit einem tollen Ausblick auf das Meer. Die Wohnung selbst ist sehr gemütlich und mit wirklich allem ausgestattet, was man brauchen könnte. Wir haben diesen Urlaub mit unseren zwei Kindern (6 und 9 Jahre) ohne Auto verbracht und haben diese Entscheidung nicht bereut. Maurizio hatte unseren Transfer von La Spezia organisiert, nachdem wir dort unseren ersten Einkauf erledigen konnten. Überhaupt hatte sich Maurizio, auch wenn wir ihn leider nicht persönlich kennenlernen konnten, während unseres ganzen Urlaubes um unser Wohlergehen gekümmert. Den ganzen Urlaub sind wir sehr viel gewandert auf den atemberaubenden Trails der Cinque Terre, der Transport zwischen den Orten mit dem Zug oder mit Shuttle-Bus z.B. zwischen San Bernhardino und Vernazza klappte sehr gut, ein Auto wäre in den engen Straßen und vor allem bei den wenigen Parkmöglichkeit in den Orten eher hinderlich. Zu den nächstgelegenen Orten Corniglia und Vernazza sind die Wege zwar recht steil, aber auch den Kindern machte es Spaß und die Wegdauer ist mit ungefähr 40 Minuten nicht allzu lang (Tipp: nach einigen hundert Metern in Richtung Corniglia biegt nach rechts eine Privatstraße ab, welche direkt auf den Hangweg führt, welcher Corniglia mit Vernazza verbindet). Also - Maurizio - vielen Dank für alles, wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt in Deiner Ferienwohnung.

Das Haus ist super ausgestattet, Küche hat alles, was man braucht. Die Kinder können draußen spielen und alles erforschen. Im Haus macht man das Feuer dann an in dem toll ziehenden Kamin. Der Blick ist unschlagbar. Einfach wunderschön. Der 5te Punkt könnte nur wegen der Schlepperei vom Wagen zum Haus und zurück nicht vergeben werden (aber ehrlich gesagt, dass ist nun einmal so in Cinque Terre). Die Jungs sagen, ich soll den Zitronenbaum noch unbedingt erwähnen.

This is a great place to stay near Corniglia. Fantastic views across the med and well appointed. Be aware you will need transport to get here and to travel to Corniglia - which is only a few kms away but a very steep walk back home up the hill! The access track is also steep and up stairs but so worth it if you want to be away from the crowds. Corniglia is a much quieter village compared to the other 4 Cinque Terre villages as the ferries dont stop here and there are 400 steps to the train station. This is great as it means Corniglia is less overrun by tourists and is less crowded. If you are looking for somewhere special to stay on the Cinque Terre then I would recommend Sole Valletonda.
