Clean and fresh apartment with an amazing view

- Clean and fresh apartment, looks like refurbished not a long time ago - AMAZING view outside the window (although no terrace or a place where you could sit and admire the view) - Volastra is 300m above the sea level, so take that into consideration before reservation. Buses from Manarola travel regularly, though. - yes, hens are a real thing, and yes, there are roosters too, so prepare to be waken up by them every morning unless you close the bedroom window (separate AC unit is there, so no big deal). And it’s actually nice to be waken up by the rooster, feels close to the nature.

The apartment feels a little bit "artificial". I mean, it looks like no one lived there before starting to rent it. Lots of small things are lacking - no towel hanger, almost none of the pans worked on the induction stove (only 1 small pan and some pots), all kitchen knifes were serrated (try to cut meat or garlic with them!).

Good appartement, but some points would be good to know while booking

The appartement is clean and it looks freshly renewed.

There are chicken under the bathroom’s and the bedroom’s window and the smell prevents you from opening the windows. You must be aware that you need a 5 minutes walk (impossible to get close by care) to get to the house, which in not a problem if you have no disability, but it would be worth mentioning. Also there is a long sharp stair to go down to the house. If you want to cook, the kitchenware is a bit limited.

Appoggio perfetto per chi ama camminare e godersi le 5 terre.

La posizione dell appartamento è eccezionale con una vista mozzafiato. Il paesino offre tutto il necessario per colazione pranzo e cena a prezzi onestissimi e per gli amanti della natura e della relativa tranquillità è perfetto. Volastra è a breve distanza da Manarola via bus (10 min) e via scalini (30 min) ed ha il pregio di non essere super affollato. C'è anche un magnifico ristorantino a 30 metri dall appartamento gestito da una coppia di coniugi che offre un menù ampio, gustoso e cucinato in modo leggero. L appartamento è confortevole con una cucina moderna e funzionale nel caso si abbiano le forze per usarla (la mia vacanza predeva almeno 9 ore di cammino quotidiano). TV grande e doccia grande e moderna. Le indicazioni del proprietario/ gestore sono state impeccabili e le risposte rapidissime.
