About this house rental

This beautiful 4-bedroom semi detached town house is located in the coastal town of Albir on the Costa Blanca, some 45 minutes by car from the local airport of Alicante which receives daily flights from most European conuntries. The property is in a privileged position offering superb views of the surrounding area and yet just 5 minutes by car from the local beach and amenities.

Situated on the “Sierra Gelada” in a private gated residential community of just 9 houses, the property has 4 double bedrooms (2 double, 2 twin) and 2 bathrooms, 1 with walk-in shower and the other with hydro-massage bath & shower. The property was completely renovated in 2014 and is presented in “brand new” condition, offering stylish and comfortable accommodation for up to 8 guests.

Property Description:

Ground Floor:

Entrance into large hallway with open staircase leading to second floor. Main double bedroom with built-in wardrobes and patio door giving access to the private walled garden/terrace area. 2nd double bedroom with double bed, built in wardrobes and window overlooking the garden area. Ground floor shower room with walk-in shower (suitable for disabled access) sink /vanity unit, toilet and washing machine. Under stairs vestibule with ample storage for suitcases, iron, ironing board, vacuum cleaner and other accessories. Finally there is a twin bedroom with double wardrobe and window to the front of the property.

First floor:

Open concept dining room with dining table & 6 chairs and patio doors giving access to the upper terrace area that also has a table and 6 chairs for “Al fresco” dining. Given the properties elevated position, the upper terrace offers spectacular views of the surrounding mountains, Mediterranean Sea and port of Altea. The lower garden/terrace area can be accessed by a spiral staircase from the upper terrace area. From the main dining area, there is an archway giving access to the lounge area which has 2 comfortable sofas, flat screen TV, DVD player and satellite TV. The first floor bathroom consisting of hydro-massage bath with shower, sink/vanity unit and toilet is situated off the hall from the dining area, next to the first floor twin bedroom complete with double wardrobe. Finally from the open landing area adjacent to the dining area there is an archway leading to the kitchen which is fully fitted with base & wall units, oven, hob extractor, dishwasher and 70/30 fridge/freezer and doorway leading to another upper terrace area giving views to the front of the property and surrounding mountains, also giving access to the main entrance driveway of the community.

The Community:

Situated at the end of a small quiet residential community accessed by electric gates, the property benefits from secure off-road parking for up to 1 car and has no passing traffic or road noise. The communal pool is located at the side of the property and gets the sun all day during the summer months.

The Area:

Albir is a popular cosmopolitan town frequented by the English, Dutch, Norwegian, German and French and offers an array of bars, restaurants and bistros to suit all palettes and pockets. The main beach of Albir stretches for approximately 3km to town of Altea and is furnished with sun beds that are available for rent from March to November (weather permitting) along with other water sport facilities suitable for all the family. Surrounded by a “horse-shoe” of mountains, this part of the Costa Blanca benefits from a small micro climate and enjoys approx 350 sunny days per year and is rated as one of the 50 healthiest places to live in the world due to its mild climate, excellent air quality and water purity. The regional airport of Alicante is just 60 km (45 minutes by car) and receives daily low cost flights from all major towns and cities throughout Europe, making it easily accessed within just a few hours from your home country. The popular holiday resort of Benidorm is just 10 minutes away by car or 25 minutes by bus and offers 24 hour entertainment for all of the family. Theme parks, live cabarets, bars, restaurants & night clubs and over 5km of sandy beaches. Albir is the perfect holiday destination for those who just want to relax equally to those who enjoy a more active vacation sightseeing, walking, cycling or water sports.

We had a great stay at this house as it had everything we needed, just like a home from home. What made it even better was we arrived later at night and were met by one of Heidi's colleagues who showed us around the property and to top it all they have put in a welcome basket with wine, beer, croissants, water, milk, coffee, butter and jam which was really appreciated as none of the shops were open at that time of night. A great property with great owners who also let us stay in the property until we got picked up later on our departure date. Although it was a shared pool we had the pool to ourselves for most of our fortnight stay. Thank you again for a great stay at your fab property

We had the best holiday ever the house is superb we didn't want to leave ,the owners are 1st class will be recommending to every one the views from balcony are breath taking every thing you will need
