Halley Hotel and Apartments, Affiliated by Meliá

Overall the apartment was great. It was clean and spacious. Had everything we needed for our stay. Great air con. The location was good for us, although it was the first time staying in the new town. We were apprehensive about this, but the location of apartments mean it is quiet enough to relax without being in the middle of all the rowdiness at night. Plenty of shops/restaurants etc close by.

The pool area… not enough sun beds and small for the number of people staying. Out of our party of 6, only myself used the pool which lasted 15 mins. It was over crowded, and felt like it was full of love island wannabe’s round a party pool, drinking in the pool and clearly checking everyone out- just made for a very uncomfortable visit and put the rest of the group off using the pool. This was disappointing as we paid more for our stay to ensure the property had a pool to relax in. One of the beds was broken on arrival - the leg fell off, but the house keepers quickly resolved this. Also we came home to shower and change one day to find the used towels had been taken when refreshing the room but did not replace with clean ones. Reception informed the towels were in the laundry (around 2pm) and would be 15mins. We left the property at 3.20pm after drying ourselves with beach towels and they still hadn’t been replaced. When we got home later that evening the towels were thankfully placed in our room to use the following day.

Refurbished room ,clean ,great view from balcony plenty places for dining even in the very late hours
