We had an amazing holiday in villa louise, and enjoyed the stunning views !The villa had everything we needed for a great stay for all ages.The only slight downside for us was the location, there was a few lovely restaurants only a 10-15 minute walk away which was ok for us , however quite difficult for my nan as it was a very steep walk, taxis to menaggio were very difficult to come by and we only managed one trip to menaggio via taxi as it was 100 euros return for the 5 of us for a 9 minute drive, other than this we loved our stay.

Villa Louise is a beautiful, well-equipped home with fabulous views and lovely facilities Plus points: pool with resident ducks, amazing views, plenty of crockery etc for a big group, great basement with pool, tables etc and on point acoustics for karaoke.- points: paying balance was stressful as links didn’t work, property is up seven hair pin bends which makes walking up & down (and driving in a big car) difficult, toiletries/hairdyers etc not generous, but we had been spoiled by previous property, and furnishings a little tired.Weather was against us for much of the time but Mother Nature provided a spectacular light show over the lake. Fab restaurant at the bottom of the hill - Loccario or similar.

The house, property and views were beautiful! However the location for our group was a bit too rural. . A couple of people in our group could not manage the walk down to the bus stop due to the steepness. Taxi service was non existent, so we could not have dinner in Menaggio, as the buses stopped early.

The house was well-appointed and was nice for our party of eight. The view was amazing, and the neighborhood was great.
The washer needs to be replaced, it stopped working.
Our biggest complaint was the bee issue in the pool. Deigo was responsive to our WhatsApp messages and sent out a maintenance staff member, but using poison was not an option if we wanted to continue using the pool. We asked for a partial refund but it was never addressed.
Overall we had a good five-night stay but the nature of the bees on the property made it difficult to enjoy the patio and pool at times.
