Villa Vittoria with private heated pool & shared sauna - Bellagio Village Residence

My family and I rented four villas for 4 days and were unfortunately very disappointed. The check-in process was confusing. Riccardo seemed to want to walk us through the property, but we didn’t have time — a printed manual for each villa would have been far more helpful. He also did not seem to know we had booked multiple villas, despite all being under the same last name. And being mentioned in the emails before. He made a point to tell us that the electrical system was not designed properly and that breakers would trip if multiple appliances were used at once. My husband is a Professional Electrical Engineer who has worked on international projects, he can confirm this is poor design practice and likely not code-compliant even in Italy. Sure enough, on the very first night, the air-conditioning breaker tripped at 5 AM. This resulted in people waking up to sweltering heat and being bitten by mosquitoes. When I mentioned this, Ricardo feigned surprise and claimed no one had “ever been bitten by mosquitoes” before — a dismissive and unhelpful response. Later, my cousin pointed out that the hot tub wasn’t even hot. Since the hot tub was prominently advertised and was a major factor in choosing this property (we were hosting family here for our wedding), this felt like blatant false advertising. They mention hot tub profusely on their website and brochure. We reported the issue, but no solution was provided during our stay. They claimed 28.6C is hot which is the height of absurdity. I sincerely doubt there were adequately calibrated and installed sensor arrays to maintain that temperature but hot tubs are usually maxing out at. 40C, not restricted to 9C below human body temperature. Other issues also included malfunctioning WiFi, and no hot water for showers in one of the villas one morning. I’d go on at length but I don’t want to waste my time anymore than I have to.

I can’t say enough about this amazing and beautiful Villa! The views are just breathtaking! The Villa itself is spacious, clean, open and airy. The outdoor space is perfect! There are restaurants within walking distance. Gloria was so pleasant, attentive and informative. She was so helpful with any questions we had.

This property is incredible. The villa itself is pristine and beautifully presented. Everything you need is catered for. We had 3 bathrooms and 4 bedrooms in the villa, but didn’t need to use 2 of the rooms as we had ample space. Outdoors, our pool was perfect for the 5 of us, and the spa jets and seating area in it were fab. The view exceeded our expectations- Lake Como is stunning. The surrounding gardens were stunning - the scent of honeysuckle was lovely, and we were surrounded by olive and cherry trees. The villa is such a quiet, relaxing place to stay we didn’t really want to leave! The very short walk to the OnnoLulu beach bar is a must. The mojitos and pizzas are highly recommended and there is a great atmosphere and a good place to sunbathe or swim. A little further on is the ferry stop which took us to Bellagio for the day and that is an absolute must for a day trip. It’s a stunning area to visit. Lots of lovely places to eat and shop. The fish restaurants were lovely, too in Onno itself. From OnnoLulu bar we rented kayaks (very inexpensive), to go out over the lake and the views and experience was well worth it. You can also rent boats by the hour. One of the best things about this stay was the wonderful service from Gloria, the villa manager. We communicated prior to the stay about our arrival and check in, and via WhatsApp while we were there. She could not have been more helpful and she was there to answer every question we had. Nothing was too much trouble and she was genuinely happy that we had enjoyed such a wonderful stay.

Amazing villa. Perfect garden and private pool with amazing lake views. Sparkling clean. Gloria, our host, was very quickly to respond whenever we had questions. Perfect experience.

Really helpful staff who were great to communicate with before, during and after the trip. The villa is well equipped with all the amenities you’d need, including an AC which came in for handy for some warm evenings (and avoiding mosquitos). You have a private garden and terrace as well, which is separated from the communal pool area. The villa also benefits from partnering with a local beach bar on the lake. You can book directly with the host to get sun beds and discounts at the bar.
