Just 5 minutes from the shores of Lake Lugano, a stylish home-from-home apartment in the city centre.
This newly built, 2 bedroom apartment, on the 1st floor of an exclusive block, sleeps 6 people in complete comfort. The air-conditioned apartment is arranged around a central hallway, with wooden flooring throughout. The spacious living/dining room has a French window leading on to a balcony, which looks out over the street. The room is chic and contemporary with a sofa (which converts into a double bed), dining table and chairs for 4 people and a large Smart TV.
The immaculate kitchen is equipped with everything you might need for your stay: an induction hob, oven, microwave, dishwasher, fridge, freezer and a Nespresso machine.
Sleeping
Bedroom 1: The bright master bedroom has a comfortable double bed, stylish storage, a large desk and chair, which can be used as a work station.
Bedroom 2: This spacious bedroom, which is equally sunny, has two single beds and an en suite bathroom.
Bathrooms
Bathroom 1: A separate bathroom, finished to an extremely high standard. There is a glass shower, large basin, bidet and WC.
Bathroom 2: En suite to bedroom 2, this contemporary bathroom also has a glass shower, stylish basin and WC.

The apartment is situated in the middle of Lugano, just a 5 minute walk from the lakeside and 8 minutes from the central square, Piazza della Riforma. It is an ideal base for a business trip, or a family holiday, if you want to explore the area around the lakes and mountains. It is located above a restaurant/bar, so it may be occasionally noisy.
The city of Lugano is known for its blend of Swiss efficiency and Italian “dolce vita”. This is reflected in the local cuisine and wines. The city hosts gastronomic, as well as musical, festivals throughout the year. A day trip on the Lago di Lugano is not be missed, neither is a trip in the funicular railway up to Monte San Salvatore (a 25 minute walk along the lakeside), with breathtaking views over the lake. Lugano has a rich cultural life. It has a fine Renaissance Cathedral, San Lorenzo (10 mins walk), as well as many excellent museums. There is plenty to do before relaxing at one of the city’s world-class restaurants and cafés.
The closest international airports are in Italy - Milan Malpensa 1 hour and 10 minutes away by car, or Milan Linate a 1 hour and 20 minute journey. The main railway station is a 12 minute walk from the apartment.

We had a great stay in Lugano with our 2 kids. The property is as described and we really had no issues. It was very clean and kitchen and bathrooms were of high quality. Location was excellent and walkable to all amenities and the water. Check-in and out were easy. Communication with hosts was easy and they responded quickly.

Pros:
We enjoyed the location which is close enough to everything and the kitchen was very practical with appliances in working order. We had a couple of issues and the property managers were very responsive which we appreciated. It’s spacious and the pullout sofa being in a room with a door makes it really feel like a 3 bedroom if you needed it.
Cons:
The apartment wasn’t well cleaned and is clearly a rental with lots of traffic and has been neglected…the walls are littered with scuff marks and there were layers of dust everywhere. The apartment #1 is also incredibly noisy. You can hear everything within the building and outside of the building. Every car and motorcycle that drive by, every loud person on the street…The instructions posted on the exterior door about the key being around the corner to the left are incorrect. The key instructions to the front door of the apt were not clear (you had to turn it twice to the left then pull it towards you then turn another half turn). The mattress is also terrible! So thin we could feel the springs and it is misshapen with how many people have slept on it. Very uncomfortable and needs replacing.
Bottom line: if you aren’t a light or picky sleeper and just need a place with air conditioning for a couple of nights in Lugano this place might be fine for you.
