Great lake view.
The property and furniture is a bit dated and could use a revamp

It is about the view. The sun shines in. It is mesmerizing. The view I saw in the photos is the view we got. Lago di Lugano - dreamy. There is no doubt there is something magical about the view of the lake and the mountains from the balcony. We had great weather. Pity Switzerland is so expensive and we could only justify one night at this cost.
1960s bathroom, all power points already multiply used by hotel room fittings and the cost? - A$430 night - its Switzerland. Did not realize till near finished breakfast that we could have asked for a cooked omelette. Took us some confusion to find our way from the train - the funicular is down a level from the station - easy from then on. Room is small but OK. Lift is micro - barely two people with luggage - but it works OK.

The owner who did the day shift wasn’t particularly friendly or helpful.

Very disappointed. The breakfast was cold n the staff was not friendly. No varieties for vegetarian.
For the booked room was the room small n the furniture was squiring. The great thing was the terrace facing the lake.for that I would give 10 points overall it was 👌
