Host demanded additional 150€ cleaning fee right after we made the non-refundable booking
The view is exceptional, but doesn’t make up for the overall experience.
Avoid. As soon as we made the non-refundable booking, the host requested an additional 150€ cleaning fee. Continued to aggressively text and demand the fee throughout our stay, making us very uncomfortable. I asked the host to submit an official request through booking.com, but the he was adamant we solve it unofficially (cash or direct deposit). The irony is that the place wasn’t very clean at all, bugs all over the floor, pet hair in the carpet, rundown facilities… Very disappointed. Took a chance on a new place with no reviews, but won’t be doing that again.

Diese Aussicht ist mit Worten kaum zu beschreiben. Trotz schlechtem Wetter und vielen Wolken DAS Highlight des ganzen Hauses.
Wir kamen Heiligabend an und das Haus war ausgekühlt, erst als wir am nächsten Vormittag abfuhren, war es einigermaßen warm. Wir hätten uns gewünscht, dass wenn man dieses Haus zu der Jahreszeit vermietet, auch eine warme Unterkunft erwarten kann. Natürlich bot mir der Gastgeber an, dass mich immer melden kann, wenn etwas ist, aber wir haben gefroren und auch die Infos des Gastgebers waren sehr spärlich. Des Weiteren ließ die Sauberkeit auch zu wünschen übrig, was das Flair des ganzen Hauses kaputt gemacht hatte. Schade!
