Kitchen but didn’t have ANY seasonings or oils to cook with. The view is nice

The bed was OK, but lacked quality. The TV didn’t work. The decor was bland. No warmth to the place. And one window in the bedroom had no curtains, so light came in disrupting sleep. The shower is weird. Have to step into a bathtub and then duck down, hurting your back, to shower. I travel a lot and never had an experience like this.

Blissful to be swimming on this quiet part of the lake surrounded by mountains

We had booked for 5 of us which meant one needed to use the sofa bed. This was not prepared when we came and we had to make it ourselves.

Really nice place with some caveats

The place is really nice, well decorated with air-conditioning, and the view is beautiful It's got a private car park which is a must in the area. The location is perfect, with easy access to Lugano and surroundings or going to Italy.

Communication with the owner is a problem - takes days to get an answer. The property is described wIth a private garden and accepting dogs, but the garden is shared and dogs are not allowed. This was a major disappointment as I've repeatedly asked for a private garden for my dog, and got confirmation it was private... but not saying it was shared and not even allowed... We had to take the dog out on the leash all the time instead of leaving it free in the garden. The pictures on the description are from multiple flats, and you can hardly tell exactly the one you'll get. There was no microwave in the place, which can be annoying when traveling as a family (it was not listed in the description, but assumed this to be a basic setting). One of the 2 bedrooms had no curtains nor shutters, making it quite light very early.

The host and the staff were amazing! The view from the apartment was great. Clean and spacious apartment.

The AC was not functioning in one of the rooms, and it was really hot. We specially booked this place because there was AC. Although the host did try to help us, the issue was not resolved during our stay making it rather uncomfortable. Location: 15 -20 min walk from the Melide Station. Although bus stop is right outside, buses aren’t as frequent. About 30-40 mins

Check out time is 10 AM. Having checked in after 3 (the official check in time), I felt it could’ve been 12 PM (3 hours seems to be reasonably good for apartment cleaning).

The shower looks great but the arch is a max of 5 feet tall. a normal adult can not stand up and there is no shower curtain. Horrible set up but the rear of the apartment is lovely.

There is noisy building work going on next door with lots of drilling etc and we feel that we should have been warned of this as very intrusive especially when they started so early

1. Extremely clean, beautifully done apartment 2. The view is wonderful 3. They have a little private garden by the lake with chairs 4. The luna apartment on the first floor may get a bit noisy with traffic but has a long balcony that makes up for it. 5 the bathroom is huge when compared to what you see in zurich/Lucerne 6. Melide cantine station is less than 2 min walk from the apartment 7. They keep bus time tables and tourist guides at the entrance which is very helpful. 8. Car parking availabile And not to mention paola who is always available to help with any query.

Nothing with the apartment was wrong but this is just for anyone who is travelling by train and with luggage 1. It's easier to take the bus from lugano than melide station as it does not have an elevator and can be challenging with luggage 2. From lugano you need to get off the bus at melide statione and change Buses that go to melide cantine. Check the bus time before travel otherwise the wait time is long

A cosy, hyper clean apartement in a wonderful location. I rate 5 stars (or more if it was possible).

The host, the location, the apartment, absolutely everything! I highly recommend this place and I'll certainly come back in the near future with my family again. My mom needs a wheel chair because of her age but the property has "easy stairs" and an elevator. Everything went beyond my expectations. *And I'm a picky person. The property was hyper clean and beautiful as well. Paola was super kind and friendly and communicate very well whenever I needed. I'm already missing this trip and Paola's appartement!

Felt like your own apartment with lake view

Amazing place. You get exactly the one apartment that you booked, no surprises. We had one on the 3rd floor with perfect lake view. Well equipped. Clean. Perfect wi fi connection. Parking across the street and you see your car from the window. The owner Paola was so nice and helpful, it was easy to contact her via WhatsApp or Phone, we got instructions before arrival and keys were left in a security box with a code. Bus stop is just 1 min from the entrance. 2 min drive from Coop supermarket.

Everything was great, but one most know the apartment is not newly built, nor modern, it’s in lovely historic building , there are stairs till the entrance, it’s clean and in good condition ( I would maybe suggested to change linen in the nearest future).

Favorite place in Melide

We were more then happy with this unit: Easy Check in, Great View, perfectly clean, confortable rooms, cozy beds, kitchen appliances all new, pet -friendly and the top professional assistance from Ms. Paola that always responded our questions promptly and kindly (an extra THANK YOU for all the tips from the area)! will be back (hopefully soon)
