Family Villa - Casa Nido - Panoramica - Happy Rentals

Location is very quiet and peaceful, on the hills over Lugano, with very nice views (bear in mind that there is only one restaurant in close vicinity, for everything else you need to drive approx. 10-15 min to the city center). There is a bus stop approx. 8-10 mins walking from the house. Good location if you are looking to relax and stay out of the city center noise. You can come with a dog which is not a standard in Switzerland. Also, the house was very clean. Kitchen well equipped.

There were two items that I did not like, however, this was my omission when I made a booking (both items were mentioned in the desceiption). First, there is no air conditioning in the house so coping up during June 2026 heat wave was very difficult (owners provided ventillators which helped a bit). However, the house gets very, very hot and there is no way to decrease temperature. Second item, there are no internal stairs in the house, so if you are staying in the bedroom downstairs and need anything from the kitchen, you have to go out through the garden and steep external stairs to reach first floor. Now, things not mentioned in the description. House is old and underinvested - bathrooms have old sinks, toilets, shower cabin and bathtube. Garden is neglected (or wild, if you will) so you won't be actually able to use it. Although, everything was well prepared for our stay and clean - no objections here.
