It's easy to find a box at the beach that sleeps 14, but can you find a home away from home, a hassle-free place that will truly let you relax, have fun, maybe even reacquaint yourself with family and friends?.........
.........The Lewes Beach House is the ideal multi-family destination rental - convenient to everything, yet quiet and peaceful. Located within the DeBraak Preserve on the Delaware Bay, the house is right on the beach and short walks to the trails and fishing pier in Cape Henlopen State Park, as well as the shopping, restaurants, and activities of Downtown Lewes.
Inside this three-story, 3200 square foot house you'll find two master suites, each with a direct view of the bay, and three other well-appointed bedrooms. There are four full and two half baths. The living room is a destination unto itself with a large screen TV and large plush sofas. There is formal dining for eight and additional casual dining for four. The kitchen is well equipped to handle preparation and service of the big family meal, or just the blending-up of some margaritas (blender, ice-maker, and margarita glasses included). Each room has a designer color scheme with coordinated furniture and bed linens - no tacky beach decor, here.
Did we mention the elevator that offers accessibility to the entire house and is really handy when carrying in groceries? The entire house is air-conditioned, of course, but with decks accessible from all the bedrooms, as well as the living room and dining room, you may spend most of your leisure time outside.
There is a single-car garage and private parking for an additional 5 vehicles. You'll also appreciate a laundry room with full-size appliances. Just bring bed linens, towels and all your personal items, and you're ready for an incredible family vacation.

This is our fourth time staying at this property for our annual girls weekend and we love it as much as the first time. This year, the owner seems to have made more room by flattening some of the hilly sand for easier parking in driveway which was a pleasant surprise. The owner is very attentive to concerns and quick to repond. Can't wait till next year!

This is a great property for a family looking for a quiet bay beach. LEWES is a beautiful little town and the house was beautiful. The owners were very responsive when there were weather issues and we enjoyed our stay very much. Has all the amenities you could need and an elevator for anybody that can’t do the stairs. Great week.

Our family all loved the house and the location was perfect. We especially enjoyed the easy access to the beach having a 4 year old and 16 month old child. The house was clean, well supplied in all areas, especially having beach chairs and beach items for the kids. The house is absolutely lovely as well as the rooms. The host was great with responding and addressing any questions. The only one issue was the barbeque grill which not cleaned. Therefore, other than this, the house is ideal, and would definitely rent again. We all had a wonderful week!

The location of the house is perfect for walking into downtown Lewes (.5 mile away), getting to the beach (short walk across parking lot), and grabbing some ice cream at the Dairy Queen just around the corner. Beautiful sunsets can be seen from the decks. The elevator is quite handy when moving into and out of the house. For this of you that are members of the American Legion, there is a wonderful post located just a couple blocks away with very welcoming and friendly members!
