About this apartment rental

Ancient house on two floors (ground floor and first floor) completely renovated, inserted in the ancient medieval village of Migliano in the hills between Lucca (20 km.), Camaiore (13 km.) and the beautiful beaches of Viareggio (20 km. ) , on the top of a hill (360 m. ) surrounded by woods and olive groves.
Our property is on the ground floor and directly overlooks a beautiful well-kept garden for the exclusive use of our guests, with a cool and shady pergola equipped with table and chairs for having lunch. From the garden you can enjoy a beautiful panoramic view of the hills with a nice glimpse as far as the sea.
The house has a large living-dining room with fireplace and kitchenette. A bedroom with a double bed, a small bedroom with bunk beds for 2 people, suitable for children and teenagers, and a modern bathroom with shower, toilet and bidet. Another room has a wood-burning oven where you can cook bread, pizza, etc. The house has free Wi-Fi and is equipped with mosquito nets on the door and windows. The house is furnished with great attention to detail, with some original antique furniture from the grandmother.

This is a wonderful place, up in the hills with a beautiful view but still not far from the beach. Giampiero is a great host, offering lots of good ideas for things to do. Very much recommended!

We can highly recommend the house, its location and the hospitality of the owners. Location is remote but that's what we were looking for. Still, places like Lucca, Pisa, Cinque Terre etc. easily within reach. Beautiful little garden with possibility of barbecuing, pizza oven and many more pleasant aspects! We really enjoyed our stay! We had a wonderful week in the house of Mita and Giampiero. The owners of the house gave us a warm welcome. The house is very well equipped. It is a very nice, old house with thick walls, so in the house it is always very cool. The garden is a beautiful place to have lazy days. You can always find both a place in the sun as a shadow place. From the garden you have a magnificent view about the hills and the sea. And last but not least: WIFI works perfect! The village Migliano is a very small village, there are no shops and you have to park your car on a central parking lot and walk to the house for the last 150 metres. We went to Pisa, Luca and Pietrasanta. In Viareggio you can go to the beach, near the lighthouse is a free beach. We have also been to the marble caves of Fantiscritti, highly recommended. When you have any questions, the owners of the house are always available. We hope we can come back sometime. We want to thank Mita and Giampiero once again for their hospitality. We certainly had a wonderful week in Migliano. Ciao, Reinier, Ellen and Mirthe.

Dear Travellers, we spent more than two marvelous weeks in Giampieros wunderful house and loved every hour in our "nest" in the middle of the village Migliano and on top of the hills. Yes, the sight is absolutely impressive: the peaks and deep, green valleys and the Mediterranean at the horizon. Migliano is fairly close to the cities of Lucca (20 min.) and Pisa (40 min.), the beach is not far (25 min.), the white Marble Mountains of Carrara are within reach (45 min.), and even Firenze can be reached in just one hour. And it is the quitest place during night - just what you asked for during holidays. The detailed photos proofed to be more than true - the rooms are just neetly furnished, with lots of taste, the kitchen is well equiped, everything was very clean and tidy and in a proper condition. Every evening we spent hours of wine drinking and chanting in front of the fireplace. There is a barbecue grill and a special wood oven for preparing a pizza. And the garden ... without words. Giampiero and Mita are the nicest and most attentive hosts, they had a lot of tips and hints for unique excursions in the enviroment. They told us where to get original olive oil and where to drink the best sprizz in the toscany. We definitely will come back to this very unique place and tell all our friends and family to spent their vacation here. Do not hesitate. Leave for Migliano. Alma (8 months) and Jana and Ulrich

Our family (with 2 kids 8 and 13 years old) spent a wonderful week in this house. The village is very nice, landscapes and views are breathtaking, neighbors are very friendly. The house is equipped and decorated with attention and love to its guests. We drived to the beaches (Viareggio, Lido di Camaiore), visited Montecantini (it`s terms were fine for swimming in any weather), Florence, Pisa. One week was not enogh to see all the places of interest. In the evening we were happy to come home. For dinner we made BBQ, salades with great fresh italian food. Thank you, Giampiero (the owner) for your hospitality! We love Toscana and have wonderful and sweet memories about our Italian holidays! Please send our greetings to Romeo and Attori! We had a wonderfull time at this beautifull place. We felt immediatly at home and espacially the garden with its amazing view was absolutly relaxing. The owners are really very friendly, caring and helpfull. We hope to return some time as for us, it was one of the nicest places we ever spend our holidays at. Thank you and lots of greetings!!! This house is really great in a very small village (66 inh.). The house is in a very good condition and equipped with everything you need. Also a wooden pizza oven is there and it's working! Also the renters a very kind and spent us a bottle of great red eine as welcome present! We would like to come back earliest as possible. Only one small remark: If the appartment above is rente then you can hear everything from them (talking, walking). The owner should think about renting all of the house as one lager holiday home.
