Good

Location was great, walkable distance to everywhere. There is a supermarket, a pizza place and a restaurant across the street. There are also coffee stores nearby. The owner was very kind and hospitable and so were other people in the hostel. The place was clean for the most part and the rooms were spacious. Bonus points for the lovely cat. It has a kitchen where you can cook simple meals. Overall, the people there made the experience really good.

The mattress was terrible, very thin and flat and I could feel the plank on my back and legs. I hope they can improve this. There is only one shower in the house and the place has capacity for 16 people I believe. Not enough.

Good

The location is really good, it's about 17-20mins from the main Church. The supermarket Idea is right across the street. You have a shared kitchen available (haven't used it). I was in a hurry so I haven't met the boss but an employee who was there was super nice, he even checked me in before 14h, showed me around etc. The toilet is okay too, it always had toilet paper and hot water(2 night stay, only been in the hostel after 23 pm). Overall good 9/10 experience.

A mattress could be a little better, but its hostel so it's kinda not that important. The room where beds are, lack space for putting stuff(i placed all my stuff on my backpack or on the floor). Idea for the boss. Buy or make some put on shelves, and put them on the existing bed frames so you have more space for every person that visits. Overall good 9/10 experience.

ok. with minor issues....overal a cool place.

It is very ok for short stay. I stayed one day so it was nice. You can meet people here, which is not so common in other hostels in Novi Sad. It has ok atmosphere. Beds were actually fine. Beautiful area all around it makes it very very cool place to be in, not to mention the old style house it is located in. This is why shoes have to be taken off, and that's perfectly fine.

It's a bit strange that there isn't a single door that locks anywhere. Yes, Serbia is safe country in general (I actually know, I am Serbian :) ), but come on :) at least something, would've been fine. There isn't even the locker for my things....yes you heard that right, no locker. The guy working just repeated several times that it is normal (with the face expression as if I asked for a nuclear reactor, not a key). Then, it is perfectly normal for me to mention it here. :)

Inexpensive for a single night but Still working some kinks out!

Inexpensive for the promo I booked. the admin team really cares a lot about the facility. It’s a new hostel. Daniel works a lot and Lots of signs and direction. Warm shower. AC. They are still adding things though like lockers, etc, 2nd bathroom finished

I decided to checkout early due to other guests and facilities. I found not so much respect for others. E.g., playing music loudly after quiet hours, constantly enter and exiting dorms / slamming doors, turning on and off AC unit during the night / morning. Piles of dishes and scraps in the morning. The single hot plate also made it not as feasible to cook regularly - recommend maybe another unit. Mosquitos do come in through the garden view bedroom - maybe some nets could fix this. Also adding a dedicated AC plug so that someone doesn’t have to stop charging their phone to put on AC on was something I notice Been in few hostels before so I know, takes time to find a rhythm. Guest issues isn’t managements fault but it would be worthwhile to see how this could be improved - some reviews said similar things before I booked if memory serves

Perfect experience

I stayed here for three nights and had a very positive experience. The staff were incredibly friendly, polite and helpful. The rooms are spacious, the dormitory was very clean, the beds were comfortable, and the shower had hot water 24/7. The location is perfect, close to the main attractions and public transport, actually just 10 mins by walk from the main area. There is one big supermarket the next door and one supermarket 3 mins away. The free Wi-Fi was fast. I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to other travelers and backpackers 😊

I loved the location, the cat, the vibe. I loved that the guy at the reception was as helpful as he could, despite working too much from what I could tell. He told me not to let my motorcycle on the street, and offered me to park it inside the courtyard. Thumbs up for that.

Noisy, crowded, barely any room for luggage, and there were bedbugs. Not many, probably they dealt with them in the past, but it's still a problem to be taken care of. The bathrooms weren't as clean as one would expect. There are only two bathrooms, and just one of them had a shower.

I was going to stay for 1 week but ended up booking a second one! This hostel really feels like home

By FAR the best hostel in Novi Sad. I liked the welcoming, the friendliness of the guests, the safe atmosphere, the quality of cleaning, and the location... It was so nice I booked another week ! Thank you Daniel for this hostel. This young hostel will soon become a beautiful place for sharing human connections, I strongly believe it. I'll come back for sure !

Maybe one more stove for cooking would be good ? The rest is perfect !

Needs improvement, even for a budget accomodation

The host is nice, the location is quite good and it's quiet so no problem falling asleep. I visited during a big festival so I didn't experience it now, but I would expect normally there to be a nice homely vibe.

As much as I wanted to like this place, it didn't meet my expectations. Sure, it's budget accomodation and therefore I can't be too critical. But there were a couple of issues that should be addressed even at this price: a single bathroom is shared by two large dorms which means you sometimes need to wait for someone else and find the facility dirty from the large number of users. The same applies to the kitchen - sometimes crowded and dirty. Furthermore, people would smoke outside and that would blow into the apartment, leaving an unpleasant smell. Admittedly, these issues stem mostly from the other guests. But I think more facilities or more regular cleaning would help. Also I would like each guest to have their private locker with key or number code. Currently all possessions are spread over the room making it messy and risking loss or theft.

DO NOT STAY HERE - DIRTY AND BED BUGS

Daniel is very kind and tries! He kept my work backpack for me (because there are no lockers or security). Hostel is generally safe. He rented me a bike for a day. The only reason my rating isnt a 1 is because of his kindness! There is also a grocery store and a bus stop across the street.

One of my worst hostel experiences after traveling to 50 countries. I almost left the first night based on gut feeling and I wish I had since the second night I was eaten alive by bed bugs. I am covered in bites days later. In addition, there is only one bathroom for the whole hostel, including the shower, so you are often waiting. The kitchen is tiny with little to cook with and the fridge packed, so I ended up having to go out for food. Saturday night the kitchen was left a mess (flooded sink, covered counters etc) so I could barely make breakfast Sunday. The other guests are generally men who are traveling on the cheap - some are friendly, some are rude. I spent as little time there as possible.

The owner was pretty nice. He was a caring, kind person and alway willing to help. The place was clean, quiet and has a supermarket right across the street. You can also have free tea and coffee in his nice yard. Highly recommend.

Tiene una excelente ubicacion, hay supermercados droguerias y restaurantes por los alrededores, hay buen servicio de trasnporte, y queda a solo 10 minutos caminando del centro de la ciudad. el personal del hostel es excelente supremamente amable y amigable.

这家旅店老板来自俄罗斯，不仅长得帅，还特别能干，细心，他免费为住客提供各种调料，对咱中国人来说，特别喜欢的酱油，辣椒，胡椒，中国茶等他都有，厨房非常干净好用，老板有求必应，非常热情，有家的感觉，且这家位置也好，房子宽敞舒服，性价比高，本来计划只住一晚，立马决定住两晚。
