Charming hostel

The hostel is very charming, and everyone was extremely kind and welcoming. The room was spacious and clean, and having our own private bathroom was a great bonus. The location is excellent — just a few minutes from the city center and the Christmas market, and no more than a 20-minute walk to the bridge and the fortress. We were very satisfied with our stay.

We mention this in no way as a negative comment, just as a friendly suggestion for the future. Although the bathroom was clean, it could benefit from some renovation. It would also be helpful if the entrance door code could be sent in advance for added convenience.

Classic and warm stay

The location is perfect. It is in an old building, but very spacious, super high ceiling. Quiet and clean. I love it. It is like a home, not a hostel. I feel it is like my own home.

A comfortable no frills hostel, with private accommodation, well located for the centre of the city

This is a comfortable no frills, small hostel well located in the centre of Novi Sad. I stayed in one of the private rooms, which was straightforward, comfortable bed and functional bathroom, and reasonably priced. While the city suffers from truncated public transport services due to the very sad events at the main station, it seems likely that more travellers will need to break the trip in Novi Sad, and this is a good, simple option. Cash only.

Great location, but limited common space

The best thing about this hostel is its location – right in the heart of the old town, with lots of cafes, shops, and places to walk around at any time of day. The staff were very kind, although there were some communication challenges (the woman at reception only spoke Serbian). The Wi-Fi was strong and stable, good enough for work.

There isn’t much common space apart from one shared room – and that room was often locked, which meant there was basically no common area at all.

Just a place to sleep

Location was OK - about a twenty-five minute walk to the bus station.

It seems like half the people were not tourists or travellers, so there wasn't the usual cool hostel vibe where you talk to each other and share tips about what to see or where to eat. It felt more like a flop house. There was the distinct odor of sewer gas/poop in the room. The old woman who cleaned the place wasn't very welcoming. It felt weird to try to hang out in the public space/reception area/living room while she was napping on the couch in there.

Complete Disappointment

The only good thing about this place is its location. Nothing else.

This listing is a joke. The photos are misleading and may have been taken many years ago. When we arrived at the time we indicated only a cleaning lady was available who only spoke Serbian. She required us to pay in cash and in advance but we never got a receipt. Instead she sent photos of our passports without consent via Whatsapp to an unknown person. Our room was used to dry clothes when we entered it. Even after the clothes drying racks were removed some clothes were left behind. Moreover, the bathroom was nothing like in the images. It is on the hallway and the smell was just unbearable.

Very cheap hostel over our expectations !

God value for money. Only stayed one night. Arrived late, left early. Location was god , and a friendly lady met us even tough we were late due to trafik. Dogs were alloved.

It was really difficult to get to the hotel since the street were closed. They could have informed us about that and were to park. We found a parking with help from some people from town. It was for free until 7 oclock the next morning wich means we had to wake up really early. The bed was hard and creaked olot.

I liked that the sights were very close

1.downstairs there is a bar, right under the windows, so in the evening and even at night it is noisy. Which makes it quite difficult to relax, especially noisy from Friday to Sunday. 2.the second floor of the beds is made so low that it is possible to arrive on the bed only in a lying position. (This is a minus for me) 3.Not quite clear monetary calculation was for me personally. Since two people representing the staff could voice a different amount (which is strange for me) (maybe I didn’t understand something, but still) 4.also a minus for me personally is that the toilet often smells into the room (here, again, maybe it just happened to me).

I totally recommend this place!

The location was exceptional, the room was very spacious and comfortable. The windows had nets for mosquitoes so it was easy to air the room. The bathroom was very clean and they provided towels! The host was very accommodating and she made us a nice cup of coffee on a lovely balcony in the morning.

Very comfortable beds, access to kitchen with everything you need, good location in the town.

I was made to pay almost double as the lady was confused with the money. Hoping it was just a mistake and not a scam. So for me it wasn't good value for money for this reason.

last minute booking

lady tending the hostel was rude - blocked off the tv room, also drank from cups on the shelf in kitchen and put them back without washing…we would not stay there again.

The room is commendable, clean and comfortable, in the very center of Novi Sad, especially when you take into account the favorable price for the location. Special praise for the host Aleksandar, who was at our service all the time. We will come back again for sure.

Location.

A real hostel ... The toilet is outside the room, you have to go out into the hallway. There are also other toilets. You have to constantly lock your toilet, otherwise someone else will enter yours. Also, it says in the description that they have a parking lot, but in fact they don't have one at all. They take you to the red parking zone where you can't stay for even a couple of hours.

Not enough bathrooms when it's full house. It was hard to find a place at first and would sudgest to hosts to better explain a location to guests. Once you find it you will love the location.

The hostel is located on the second floor and there is no elevator in the building - personally, I didn't mind this at all, but it should probably be stated somewhere in the hostel description.
