Would recommend

Room is alright size for one person. It was warm, insulated, there was radiator and a decent light from good size window. Kitchen and staff was nice. There are complimentary treats in the dining. There are pleanty of bathrooms and they are in good condition.

Mattress topper was not the best but it was thick enough to provide a good night sleep.

Close to the city center and to my temporary work space. Also, there's some quaint cafes/pubs nearby!

I think someone was smoking in an accommodation which was a big NO to me. Also, I think it wouldn't hurt for the staff to smile a little bit. The one, when I checked out today, was so grumpy as if she was bearing the whole world at her back on a Monday morning (which is fair but in the hospitality sector, not cool!), take it easy and smile a bit! You won't lose bits if your soul to be nice and kind!

Nice stay, but can get warm

The private single and double rooms are a big plus since that’s not very common in hostels. The location: close to the shopping center and university campuses, which is very convenient.

No AC in the room. It was around 24°C with a bit of rain, so no AC wasn’t really an issue. But anything warmer than that would be uncomfortable. My room had a fan when I visited in winter (this is my 2. stay here), but not this time. Not that it would’ve helped much if it were any warmer, because I don’t handle heat well and often wake up at night because of it. I’d stay here again, just not in the summer heat.

The rooms are very comfortable, have air conditioning, the host was very kind and helped us even though we arrived late, (we were on a trip through several countries and this was the best place we slept)

Good price and location

The place was really clean, the location is walking distance to the main square, the single room and the other facilities were good. The communication beforehand was also prompt and clear.

Unfortunately, there were people moving early in the morning, making noise with the keys and the floor was making cracking noises so it wasn't quiet enough to sleep. The bed was also making noise.

Amazing hostel- serbijan hospitality

Very clean,they provide you with towels ,big fan in room, in bathroom big stack of toilet paper, good hairdryer, soap, mini bins everywhere…In kitchen everything possible you need for cooking and sweet Sofia to help you if needed ( she was kind to wash my jeans) One of the best hostels that I stayed in 20 years.

Only thing was mattress, had a big dent ( possibly big mens was sleeping before me in that bed🙂😄) but I switched side and slept like a baby

Better than expected

I was positively surprised because I expected something rundown for such a low price but it was quite well-kept. And the room was quite spacious. There's a common kitchen with free tea/coffee and even fruits.

I didn't particularly like the bed which wasn't very comfortable but it's not a big deal.

Nice hostel near the city centre

The hostel has friendly and hospitable staff. It is extremely pleasant that they serve fresh fruits and cookies every day in the shared kitchen. There is also microwave, stove and oven in the kitchen, so you can cook everything you want. The hostel is located in a 3-storey building, in a quiet, cozy area of Novi Sad. Quite close to the biggest shopping malls (5 mins by feet), sports centre SPENS, Danube river and parks. 20 minutes by feet to old city centre. The individual room is cheap, quite spacious and warm (they have central heating). There are 2 restaurants/cafes on the 1st floor. Groceries are also very close to the place (3 minutes max).

If you rent an individual room for a long period, you have to ask periodically to wash the floors in it, because they don't have the schedule for such type of cleaning inside the rooms. They do not have laundry in the hostel.

Cheap hostel with good location

The host is a nice guy. Location was perfect for me. Close enough to the city center but still quite. The room was clean. Towels and sheets clean and savory. It was easy to find parking near the property. It was very cheap compared to other properties near by. WiFi was good enough.

The room is very minimalistic. One bad with old mattress and a closet. It has a strange smell when windows are closed. Sound insulation is very poor. I could hear everything in other rooms (snoring included). Some loud people were yelling until midnight and banging the doors. We had shared bathrooms and it wasn’t very clean (it was more about guests than the host but still..).

Great

2 bed room The hostel is very nice and cosy. Everything was clean and maintained. Our room had 2 beds, wardrobe and a small heater, really enough and decent for a hostel, with a lock on the door - privacy was really good. We also got 2 smaller towels each for our 3 night stay. In the bathroom there was plenty of toilet paper, shampoo and extras. Also, there are 4 toilets in the hostel, so if one is occupied you can always use another. Kitchen is rather new and well equipped, with complimentary fruit, coffee, tea and chocolate

Thin and uncomfortable mattress, very thin walls between the rooms - other guests were sometimes loud (but atleast there are walls).
