Location = 10/10. Short walk from Kita-Akabane station. Mcdonalds, Lawson located near the station exit. Supermarket's just around the corner. There is also a small playground at the underpass. Many restaurants along the way to the property Cleanliness = 10/10. Beautiful home, albeit small Staff = 10/10. There wasn't enough towels, but owner was very responsive and delivered the extra towels within the hour. Facilities = 10/10. Has all the amenities you need (lots of shampoo, body wash, toilet papers, laundry liquid). Bonus - they have a mini dryer!

A few minor inconveniences, but nothing that takes away from the property’s overall value and appeal Mattresses - Too hard/firm No Living space - There is only a small side table in the hallway for dining purposes Keypass & Light Switches - A keypass is required to activate electricity in each bedroom (eg: to turn on the lights). The only way to turn off the lights is to take the keypass out. There is no option of having a side lamp on at night. Street Noise - Some nights can be a little noisy and may affect light sleepers (though earplugs would solve this problem). But this didn't seem to bother my elderly parents and or children. Stairs only - which seems common in Japan.

The owner was so helpful when we were having trouble finding it as it was late. He was very accommodating. The property was very roomy.

It was a little unusual in the fact two rooms were sharing a kitchen/bathroom area which felt like it was in a hallway. It worked fine tho for our group of 4 and the bedrooms were very spacious. We just didn’t use the kitchen.
