Spacious Modern 2-BR Apartment in Aberdeen City Centre

Location, price, facilities and the owners (or the people who contacted me about the stay) very very attentive and replied to messages very quickly.

Can’t fault it.

The location was exactly what we wanted - very close to where our daughter is staying while at the University. We found the apartment nicely furnished and comfortable, and it was an easy walk to the bus station, grocery stores, pharmacy, etc. The coat hooks in the entry were extremely helpful, so we could remove and hang our coats before changing from shoes to slippers when we entered. (We arrived with the snowy/icy weather.) Information on overriding the heater timer was helpful, along with the individual radiator controls. (Standard in the UK, I expect; new to us.) The heater in the fireplace was toasty, once we figured out where all the switches are. We found essentially everything we needed in the kitchen to make our meals. Simple, but sufficient.

Only two recommendations for improvement: 1. The apartment door could only be locked/unlocked with the key. That meant we either needed to leave the apartment open/unlocked when only some of us when out (so we could get back in without assistance), or we had to leave the key with those not going out, and communicate when we returned to let us back in. We didn't want to separate the apartment key from the building key, though that would have been a bit easier. Ideally, the apartment door would have a different type of lock so that someone staying inside can lock the door while someone leaving it with the key can still open it on return. 2. There was not an easy way for us to make coffee in the morning - we ended up borrowing our daughter's French press. Adding a press or pot (with basic instructions) would be helpful.
