Diabolical service, Abusive manor from host. Please do not book this property. we had to get somewhere else to stay.
The property's heating was broken, the wifi was not working. On arrival the property was open. called the host number only to get a very rude abusive, unhelpful female with broken english. After being told to get out of the property as we were trespassing, we felt that this was not a place we could stay given our circumstances for the visit. This was to take our girl to hospital. so after a few more calls from to the rude lady, we had to get a last minute hotel at £140. we will never deal with these folk again. Asking for driving licence and all bank details too.
We did not get the opportunity to really look around.

The space is enough compared with hotel.
The location is really bad, it’s the end of one road, so it’s very hard to walk out to take bus or taxi, long way make you tied.
And the coffee machine is not working and it’s noisy upstairs. The washroom looks dirty. Not good choice.

The property was only 10 minutes walk from Old Aberdeen and had been booked for a graduation at the Kings Campus there so the location was perfect.
The experience with this property was extremely negative and anxiety- provoking. The information required in order to pay the deposit and receive check-in information was not requested until the day of travel which made the journey extremely stressful. They asked for too much personal information that I was not prepared to give. Long story short I was convinced I was being scammed. However after a conversation with Booking.com I was put at ease enough to pay the deposit. However, after this had been resolved and the deposit paid I received a WhatsApp message offering me alternative accommodation - when I said that I wanted to keep the property I had booked I was informed this would not be possible because of plumbing issues and other properties were offered - when there was no immediate answer to my phone call I assumed I had been scammed of my deposit and the property didn’t exist. However, she phoned me back and long story short after speaking I went ahead with another property. We arrived to find a disheveled block of flats. We had not been informed on the phone that the only access to the flat was multiple flights of stairs with no lift - problematic for me with health limitations. After then lugging up multiple heavy cases we found what can only be described as a student flat that had been re-let during the summer as a holiday stay. It did not compare to photos. It was not very clean, utensils were odds and ends and looked as if they had been left behind by students and multiple furnishings were broken. We felt so uncomfortable that we went to a supermarket to purchase our own cutlery, glasses, disposable bowls and pillowcases. Anything we did use was thoroughly washed. We had to clean the bathroom before use. The contract stipulate that there would be a £500 charge for smoking on premises yet when we entered the building it stunk of smoke and the smell infiltrated into the flat as well.

Very disappointed with the basic facilities of the apartment.
Location was fine for work.
The heating did not work, portable heaters had to be provided for the bedrooms, which for nearly £500 is very disappointing and not ideal in the middle of winter. The hot water also did not work, so for 3 men going to work each day was problematic. Overall, very disappointed in the basic facilities of the apartment and did not reflect the price paid.

Good
Very comfortable beds, warm, cozy, 3 very good sized bedrooms. The host very easy to communicate with & dealt with my last minute request arriving 2 nights early very efficiently.
First impression of street & common hallway wasn't great & kitchen dated but had the basics we needed and was clean. Could do with few finishing touches things like bedside tables/lamps. However for the price overall good value and suited us for our needs for the week.
