Was clean

3 towels for 4 people over 2 nights, no working tv, no iron, 1 key between 4, had one friend pop in for a jacket during our night out and we left 10 minutes later, staff text me trying to charge me £80 for the extra person and on watching the cctv in full they admitted this was a mistake, very very poorly ran

The staff were helpful

The high point of my stay at this hotel was probably the hour long screaming argument had in the hallway just outside my room. Seemingly between a member of staff and someone staying there. Since my stay I have been trying to get them to send me an invoice which they have failed to do despite telling me several times that it's been done and ending my chat window with them before I can respond. When I call them directly the phone just rings forever and no one picks up.

Good value hotel

Friendly staff, tea making facilities in room and lobby, kiosk in lobby for snacks and items you may have forgotten Indian takeaway, general shop, and pharmacy beside hotel Bus stop into city centre straight across from hotel Although a lot of guests stay for a night out in Newcastle, it wasn't overly noisy

A bit further out of city than I had anticipated, however 30 and 31 busses run regularly from stop directly across from hotel so was easily navigated

Decent Basic Find

The staff were friendly, helpful and informative, the hotel was clean, tidy, comfortable bed, decent water pressure in shower! Only £5-£10 an uber into centre, if your just looking for a cheapish place to rest your head, its ideal. Decently stocked shop at reception. Basic but clean, was ideal. The communication was great text to check arrival times and reminders throughout visit.

The room wasnt big, so not alot of room if there is two people, rooms are really basic, nice wee sample items available if u forget. The towels well could fit a child and there was only two, not even enough for the two of us. Only 1 toilet roll left in room, could hear the cleaner but they never came near and couldnt find to get extra items. If the cleaners are not coming in on your stay having extra towels etc would be better for guests and actual towels not guest ones. The window was nailed shut, understand for safety however there is safety catches that could be on, as the room was small it was stuffy and got hot really fast. There was an fan unit available. The coffee machine was at reception, especially when ur on top floor with no lift, would have much more appreciated an option within the room.

2 night stay

Staff were friendly, room was clean and the bed very comfortable, the bathroom was very clean and the shower good and easy to use. I was worried because it was approx 20 minute walk from the centre but there is a bus stop over the road and 2 buses you can take, that both run quite regularly.

Very polite friendly staff all 3 diff members of staff o saw were briiant, was very clean throughout, free wifi tv with a enough channels very clean room the bed was that comfty was a shame to have to get out of it , very clean toilet and shower with lovely hot water ,the only downside was no kettle in room but they have a drinks station down stairs where you vould help yourself and a little shop in side the check out area where to grab a few treats so that made up for lack of kettle and yes id stay again

Great place to get your head down for the night, no frills. Spot on.

Clean and tidy, Room was small but ideal, all you need to get your head down in a comfortable bed with decent bedding.

Walls/floor has very little in the way of sound deafening. Fine as long as you don’t have ‘active’ neighbours.

Short stay in a comfortable hotel.

Very well appointed hotel - around 15-20 mins walk from the city centre. Appears to have undergone some renovation with a very modern looking bathroom. Room was very comfortable with toiletries provided. Free tea and coffee available in reception. Very good value for money.

Don’t book this hotel if you want to sleep.

Freshly decorated. Convenient location. Toiletries were a nice touch.

Incredibly noisy. Didn’t sleep a wink. Doors slamming, people talking in the corridors at 4am, cardboard for walls. There was a used bar of soap in the shower. Cups, kettle, sugar and sweetener in the room, but no tea or coffee (only at reception). TV signal was so bad it was unusable. Wouldn’t stay here again.

Convenience for multiple occupants (size of family room) and proximity to town centre.

The TV for a supposed family room was horrendously small (large laptop size), and poorly located in the room on one of the walls. A family couldn’t sit anywhere to watch if they wanted to.

Comfy stay

I really appreciated the owner in the staff in efforts to make the stay as comfortable as possible. It was warm and friendly. The room was very clean and was everything I needed it for.

Comfy, clean and great value for money

Was a quiet hotel, room was extremely small but for a small fee we could have upgraded to a bigger room, but we only stayed for 2 nights, so just kept the room we were in. Staff were lovely, if we needed anything they were happy to help. Bit out the way but there is public transport available outside the door. Was a shared bathroom and toilet but we had it to ourselves as the other rooms were all en-suites. Comfy bed, clean room.

Warm room, very noisy, shower not working,

Fairly good value, parking for a couple of cars, friendly staff

Room was very warm and noise from the road kept me awake all night.. (room 9) also the shower did not work so had to walk to the other side of the building in my towel to get a shower. The gentleman from the hotel could not get it working. The room didn’t have a curtain only a blind which did not block the sunlight. Unfortunately I was awake all night

Fantastic value for money

Very friendly, welcoming staff. Checked us in early. This place is very cheap. For the price I had low expectations but it was clean and comfortable and secure. Slept really well in big beds. Room was big and toiletries all provided.

Parking was available as advertised but a bit run down. Not much of a criticism really when you look at what you get for your money.

Best value for money I've ever stayed. I was travelling solo for a music gig.

I did not expect the standard of room to be as good as it certainly was for what I paid. The bus stop outside was a pleasant bonus too at £1.90 to the town center.

Comfortable and a friendly atmosphere.

Hotel is in the middle of complete refurbishment. The ensuite room I had was perfect for me. Everything in there was brand new. No kettle in the room but a good variety of tea and coffee in reception which is free. All the staff were very friendly and sociable. I would stay again.

Amazing room and can't fault it

As soon as u walked in all u could Sense was the amazing smell coming from the room, it was clean, well presented and my bag and jumper (which I left before check-in) was hung up on me coming back was a nice touch

Absolutely immaculate and wonderful staff!

The staff couldn’t have been nicer or more helpful. They upgraded us to a bigger room, helped us to our room with our luggage and were so kind and chatty. The bed was genuinely the comfiest hotel bed I’ve ever slept in, and the whole place was absolutely immaculately clean.
