Safe, clean, comfortable, barebones place to stay on a budget

Excellent place to stay for one night between stops. The place was clean, easy to access and conveniently located near the Fort Lauderdale airport and cruise ports. There are no amenities. It was what I would describe as an adult hostel. There wasn't much interaction with other guests but we could have had interaction if we wanted. We would stay again.

There isn't a lot of noise privacy. We could hear most conversations guests were having in the common area. It didn't bother me too much as I sleep with ear buds that blocked the sound. We functioned under the assumption that any conversation we had could also be heard outside our room. Even with that most guests were quiet and there wasn't a lot of noise from other travelers.

The kitchen was nice but the place could use some instructions. No where to go outside.

It was clean enough and the staff that came in to clean were nice and helpful

Did not realize there was not any staff on 24 hrs. So when someone threw up in the bathroom no one could come clean it up. When someone threw people played there tv way to loud there was no one to take care of the noise. Those people also left and left the tv on extremely loud. The rooms should have a fan in them and they should have hooks. Or a luggage rack to put your luggage on No dressers or drawers

Wasn’t sure how to check out so just left at 10:00

Price

No one there at 3:05. Never saw ANY staff. Talked on the phone only. Would not give us information about room number until 4:00 when Booking.com said check in available at 15:00. 3:00 I believe! Coffee maker in kitchen. Couldn’t get it to work. Could have used a mirror in the room so wouldn’t have to take up time and space in the shared bathroom.

Rude owners who change terms of stay

Close to the airport

Gave a 3:00 check in time but did not show up and when I called they did not answer. I messaged and they offered me an earlier check in for $29.00. Another renter showed up when they called the owner said not until 4 pm and hung up on them

A house made into a multi bedroom building in a regular neighborhood.

price, but wont stay again. Quiet location as it is in the middle of a neighborhood. Nothing else around but other houses...It is not a motel in the traditional sense. This is a house subdivided into bed rooms.

I had no idea I was renting a room in a house. I dont believe anyone from management/owner were present on property as they did all communication by text/Messenger app. House is subdivided into many bed rooms. The map on th wall showing emergency exits was from before the house was subdivided. TV had no remote. Could not work tv without the remote. Shared bathrooms.

Poor communication. Stained bed sheets, paper thin blanket, one hand towel for communal bathroom. Had to set up an account to use tv. Tiny room. Metal double bed. Not comfortable for 2 people.

My room was spacious for one person. There was a free WiFi.

The walls are really thin so you can hear everyone and there are many people staying there. I booked it as had to catch the flight from the airport early but actually it turned out to be quite far due to roads at night and taxi was expensive due to congestion in the area. There are 2 bathrooms for maybe 10 rooms and one next to my room there was no hot water , which I learnt only after I got in the shower . I informed the owner and got no reply other than instruction how to turn the shower on which was not the problem .

Extremely disappointed,my privacy was violated!

Today morning before l checked out , around 9am , l was coming out of the bathroom dressing up and there’s this guy looking through my window,l freak out and cover my self with a Blanket , then l take my phone to take him a picture in case he comes back , been trying to call the Manager since the incident and no one is answering the phone, extremely disappointed, not even going to talk about the property itself ,shared bathroom with God knows how many people..bedding had only the mattress cover ,room super cold ,. Blanket doesn’t do anything really , it’s very thin , No washcloth

Very uncomfortable and disappointed

What exactly is good about this place? I tried to stay positive and look for something — anything — but honestly, there’s nothing.

I’ve honestly never experienced a stay this terrible. From the moment I arrived, there was no receptionist, and everyone had to figure out on their own how to contact the owner, find their room, and get basic info — all the guests were confused, not just me 🙃. They even sent me to a room that wasn’t prepared at all (as you can see in the photos). When I finally got moved, the new room had no secure lock, the plug near the bed didn’t work, the room was tiny and uncomfortable, and there was barely any space to put my things. The house itself was extremely noisy — you can hear conversations from every other room. And unbelievably, my food disappeared from the fridge 🤣. Oh, and if you want to leave your luggage there after checkout? Don’t even hope for it… it’s not allowed 😅.

Couples pleasant retreat

The house was super clean, neat, very well put together, we immediately felt the effort the owners put in to make the customers stay a pleasant one. Our room was compact but very cute and comfortable.

I CAN'T say i disliked anything, but if I had to try and find something wrong with it I'd only be able to knock the size of our room. Keep in mind that it was the smallest room they offered, but it met our needs with ease and it was a very satisfying experience

The room is very small, the only furniture is a bed and a nightstand. There is no place to put even things for 1 day. You can't even open a suitcase because of the space. The owner does not always answer questions. There is no wardrobe or closet.

Great stay!

We’ve enjoyed our stay so much we decided to stay longer! The house is beautiful, clean and in a nice neighborhood. There’s shopping and food trucks within walking distance. The owner and her son, both have been very professional and kind. They have cameras in the lobby area which makes us feel safer. I highly recommend staying here.

Sólo que era cerca del hotel .

Mis padres se hospedaron en ese hotel , el cual tenia problemas con el código de acceso y solo ingresaron cuando una persona del hotel salió a recibir un delivery de comida . La persona de asistencia del hotel respondía de mala manera y sin importarle que mis padres podrían quedar en la calle si no lograban abrir la puerta . Cuando finalmente ingresaron, la habitación asignada estaba habitada y sucia, al parecer estaba sucia o aún alguien estaba hospedado en la habitación. La persona decía que la persona Housekeepen había limpiado la habitación y punto . Solo hasta que le envíe fotos ,les dio otra habitación. Una experiencia perversa y mala. Si pudieran devolver el dinero o algo de lo pagado , podría mejorar la terrible noche que pasaron .

NADA, me fui, me senti muy insegura, empezando porque a la entrada había un hombre fumando mariguana, the rooms locks están muy flojas y te da la sensación de que cualquiera se puede meter. Me fui de inmediato .

Fortlauderdale paso por vacaciones en pareja.

Me gustó la ubicacion de la casa y la limpieza y decoración del lugar. El acceso fue muy sencillo y practico al llegar.

No me gusta que la habitación no cuente con baño privado. Solo cuenta con 2 baños en donde solo 1 le funciona la ducha.
