Now listen yall! I’m a homeless single mom so me and my babies have stayed at a few motel 6 properties and this property is BY FAR the best Motel 6 I’ve stayed at. The rooms that I’ve stayed in are clean and comfortable. Nothing fancy (because it is a Motel 6 chile), but it’s definitely good enough for us to be comfortable. And this is one of the only properties that we’ve stayed at that has a well maintained pool! My son spends HOURS out there. But my favorite part about the property above all is Jose the assistant manager. Every single Motel 6 property I’ve ever stayed at, the staff lacked hospitality, but I must say Jose makes it seem like it’s second nature to him. He is very professional, accommodating, and understanding. Like I said I’m a homeless single mom so times are a bit tough right now, but thanks to Jose and his grace we have been able to stay sheltered through the times when I didn’t know where the room money was going to come from. He doesn’t ever escalate a situation or approach things in a hostile manner which is typical when you tell a hotel manager that you don’t have the money for your room. Also Tiease and Richard are the s*** too. They work at the front desk. This was a long review but I wanted to give yall the real. It ain’t perfect, but whether you’re going through a tough time or you need someone cost effective to stay on your trip to SoFlo, whatever the reason is, Motel 6 Fort Lauderdale is the way to go (They are the cheapest & cleanest motel I’ve stayed at in Broward county).

The hallways the carpet needs to be ripped out or cleaned because they have a bad smell of urine hotel rooms kept clean need some housekeepers that speak English

We stayed here for one night before cruising in early December. We were a group of more than 20 and didn’t have an issues while staying here. The location is very convenient since we landed in FLL and need to get to the port the next day. Would stay here again next time if the price is right again.

The location is good.
The outdoors are good.
The value for the money, its questionable. Agoda, have provided better options for the same value.
The inside is horrible. It has very bad smell in the common areas that is unwelcoming.
The towels had other peoples hair -Yuk!
