Don't bother--not worth it.

No blankets, wrong room type(asked for smoking got non-smoking), had to wait for extra sheets until after about 6pm since there are no blankets, flip lock on door broken, tub looked awful, no garbage can, looked like a bullet hole in wall, cockroach climbing on wall in the a.m., aerator on sink missing so water splashed all over, pool empty, bathroom door not closing and finally all ice machines broken.

it was terrible!!! Do not recomend this motel!! we want our money back!

nothing about this motel is good!! we made a reservation and by the time we did our check in, they werent any rooms available, they only have one person doing everything in the motel, this person was in charge of the check ins, cleaning the rooms, etc. we arrived to do our check in by 11pm, we ended up receiving our room by 1am.

the rooms were dirty, the refrigerator didnt work, the bathroom was a mess, the walls, doors,curtains, etc were dirty as well, our beds were dirty too, they never change the sheets!!. we had to stay, cause we were traveling with our kids, and by the time they finally gave us a room was already 1AM!! we and our kids were exhausted!!! we only stay for one night.

They gave our room away even though we booked months in advance. Showed up 9pm after a long flight and lady said all the rooms are full and booking ahead means nothing it’s first come first serve IN PERSON ONLY. No communication beforehand whatsoever. We had 3 rooms booked for 3 families and we were stranded with young kids with nowhere to go. The lobby was dirty and smelled awful so we didn’t want to stay anyways. There was a lineup of people in the same situation as us. Luckily we found a different place because I wouldn’t feel safe staying here. The uber driver who picked us up said it’s a bad neighborhood and alot of prostitution happens here. It’s shady as f

The humans that worked there were very disrespectful and rude. Except that one guy, who I guess doesn’t actually work there? The place was dirty and gross and there were stains on everything. Used condom behind the bed that clearly has not been cleaned in probably ever.

The worst place i've ever stayed in.

This was literally the worst motel i've ever stayed at , and I have traveled my entire life. The bathroom door would not even shut paint peeling off the walls.The tub was so dirty, we didn't even shower.There was cockroaches crawling on the floor. When you sat on the bed, it popped up because a leg was broken.The entire place was filthy. The location in relation to the beach was the only plus about this place and if everything else hadn't been booked, we would've eaten the $160, we spent just to not stay there.It was absolutely disgusting.

There was not one single thing we liked about this place.Other than the location in relation to the beach, it was awful.Absolutely.Awful.Never seen such a disgusting place in my life.And I have traveled all over the united states , canada and the bahamas , it was awful

A little frightening and educational.

It was still open when we came in from the Bahama ferry.

I could not answer the above bonus question because the area was depressed, smelly and the inhabitants were noisy. the facility was care worn, the bathroom door was hanging by one hinge and although the room appeared generally clean we wondered if the sheets had been changed because the bottom sheet was covered with a mattress cover. The front desk is set up like a bank teller station and it was apparent that guest had damaged the property in the past because we had to present ID for both of us and sign a waiver. It generally speaks no-tell motel. Not what I had come to expect from Tom Bodett.

There are drug addicts there prostitution is allowed. And overlooked by staff when it comes to long term customers being there over two years. Staff plays a part in favoritism over people who has a warrant for their arrest.

ROOM: ready for a make over. Paid for two guests .... Only allowed 1 (ONE) towel. What happened to the owners of the UNITED STATES of AMERICA ? Why do they operate the Motels like they are in some THIRD WORLD country and treat their guests as though they are from a THIRD WORLD country. In fact I take that back ... I just arrived in Cali Colombia ... and the towels were thick and beautiful and they asked how many we needed. The USA standards have gone to xxxx and the owners of the motels are helping it reach for the bottom. Very disapointed in Dania Motel 6 operation. I plan on sending a letter to Motel 6 Corp Office about the treatment I received ... after spending a decent amount of money.

Spend a little extra and pick something nicer.

The woman at the front was incredibly nice. We had a very long day and she was very understanding and compassionate about our situation. We didn't end up staying after seeing the state of the facility and the rooms, but we're able to get a refund 5-7 business days later.

The location is very sketchy, it was dirty, there was glass on the ground and the rooms were very sad. The first room reeked of cigarette smoke, so we requested to be moved to another. It smelled of mildew and was also dirty.

Apon arrival they tried to change the amount of the room, said to keep the price i had i needed to go back and do another reservation but oay for it. Once doing that i did get a room, however the room was not clean, beds were not made, it was trash all over i had to go back to the office and request a different room. The room they gave me that time, was a little better however the tv did not work, the sink stayed clogged.

It’s the most terrible experience with hotels in my life. At first my booking.com didn't work for you, your system didn't see the possibly paid reservation and I had to pay real money to check in. Later you gave me a room with dead cockroaches and no pillows. I demand my money back!

The room wasnt very clean and there was still sand in the bathroom floor. The door to the room appeared to have been kicked in before and didnt even close properly. Bed was super comfortable, but only had one pillow on each queen bed. l'll just say staff was super nice and asked me several times if we needed anything. Pool looked amazing but didnt have time to swim (probably the best amenity). Room was 5 minutes from the statepark (which was our destination and has amazing beaches) and it was super affordable and was just a place to sleep. Comfy/clean beds and good AC is all we were looking for. Other than that and the giant iguana roaming (est 7-8ft and hefty) my kids and I thought is was an alligator in the Pond in the fenced area behind the hotel and it was the biggest Ive ever seen and had a pet one 6ft in length. Convenient X10 but not a great area.

People outside all night walking around, and back and forth. Room was dirty, tv didnt work, table falling apart, door barely closed, ice machines broke, coke machines barely worked, and whole hotel needed tons of work(hoping it was a recent purchase and theyre working on it.

I would NEVER stay here!

The front desk clerk was very nice and understanding when we chose to cancel and leave the property.

Upon driving to the hotel, it appeared to not be in a nice area. We were given our room (171) by the pool, there is a light bulb hanging out of the ceiling IN THE SHOWER with water dripping out of the hole in the ceiling. Not even a light FIXTURE, JUST A LIGHT BULB! They gave us a different room (172) The bathtub is disgusting!! Filthy! I would NOT put my feet into this tub. We checked out at that point and I asked for the full refund. The desk clerk said it would take 3-5 days. Then obviously I had to find another property to stay at for my 4 remaining days of MY VACATION!
