    We didn’t get sleepers in the room and the breakfast was a little …..to little :-)…but in the end it was ok….

    Das Ludwig is a new boutique hotel steps from the harbor in the pedestrian district of Lindau-Insel. It is an easy walk from the train station. It is decorated with beautiful art throughout, in the rooms and in the public spaces. The innkeeper is a delightful, friendly, thoughtful and helpful young man. He was accommodating of our last minute requests (early check-in, adding breakfast) and always greeted us cheerfully as if making our stay delightful was his highest priority. The French breakfast was luxurious -- numerous assorted breads (croissants, rolls of various kinds), jams, a boiled egg, yoghurt, cheeses and deli meats.

    Super schönes Zimmer in genialer Lage mit leckerem Frühstück.
    Schön, modern und doch im alten Stil neu renoviert. Sehr charmant. Bequemes Bett, große Dusche. Sehr gutes Frühstück.
    Die Massen an WhatsApp, EMails, alles KI gesteuert. Und leider kam bei meinen Fragen nichts genaues raus. Weder die Preise der Minibar, noch wie die Dampfdusche funktioniert. Das könnte man besser machen. Aber die KI lernt ja täglich dazu 🤷‍♀️

    Ein schöner Aufenthalt einem stilvollen Haus
    Wir hatten für 2 Nächte das weiße, also kleinste Zimmer gebucht, hatten aber das Glück, dass der sehr nette und zuvorkommende Inhaber des schönen Hauses uns für die 2. Nacht den Umzug in das goldene Zimmer oben möglich machte, vielen Dank hierfür! Das Haus wurde sehr geschmackvoll renoviert und bietet eine Atmosphäre zum Wohlfühlen. Das Frühstück war liebevoll zubereitet und sehr lecker! Die Lage ist wunderbar zentral und wir hatten das Glück, dass in der Tiefgarage nahe dem Hotel noch ein Platz frei war. Wir kommen gerne wieder ins Ludwig! Liebe Grüße Josef und Julia

    Charming / Liebenswert
    Top Lage, authentisches Gebäude, toll renoviert, modernisiert von innen. Sehr nettes Zimmer auf dem 3. Stock, groß und interessant eingerichtet. Das Bett ist sehr gemütlich, auch für „Prinzessinnen“ mit Rückenproblemen. Frühstück sehr nett, ausgiebig, sympathisch mit der netten Bedienung, vorteilhaft in meinen Augen, gegenüber einem überfüllten Buffet.
    Das Badezimmer ist jedoch mit der Wand getrennt, vom Schlafzimmer nicht ganz isoliert. Die Intimität verlegt sich vielleicht auf Ebenen, wo man in der Beziehung nicht zwingend hinkommen will… :) Parken ist etwas abenteuerlich, da der Parkplatz (nicht direkt am Hotel) mit einer Schranke verschlossen ist, Fernbedienung muss im Hotel erst geholt werden. Kritik hier jedoch nicht ganz recht, ich hätte auch keine bessere Idee, es ist schon vom Vorteil Parkplatz auf dem Insel zu kriegen…
