Beautiful place!

Staff was great. We had dinner in the restaurant, it was wonderful.

The hotel was empty (we were in the lowest season), and we didn't get a view. But..we didn't pay for it, either.

Beautiful hotel with lovely location and facilities.

Loved the room with balcony and lovely harbour view. Great indoor pool and relaxing area. Location was perfect for exploring the town/island on foot. Very clean. Breakfast was amazing, huge choice and lots of it.

Priced slightly on the high side but a nice for a treat. Expensive parking for a motorbike.

Expensive for not much reason other than location.

Location is great. Reception staff friendly and welcoming.

Probably has its best years behind it. Outdated furnishings and fittings. Breakfast was pretty basic and tables weren’t cleaned up quickly meaning having to wait for a table as many were empty needed clearing. Unfortunately sauna/spa area doesn’t open until the afternoon so unable to use those facilities of a morning.

I love this hotel and have returned to it whenever I am in Lindau

The stepped entrance to the hotel, although lovely, is not easy for individuals with difficulty walking, particularly with luggage. There is no handrail available - only on the far sides with plants in front of them. Since there is no doorman, it is really difficult to manage. It would be easy to install 1 - 2 additional handrails approaching the door matching the existing, inconvenient handrails

Amazing views of the harbour from our balcony

We paid for a lake view room, which was well worth it, we had the most amazing balcony overlooking the harbour. One of the best hotels we have stayed in, right in the centre of Lindau, on the lake, breakfast was fantastic, and the spa and swimming pool excellent.

A beautiful hotel in a spectacular location. I will never tire of walking around the harbour and admiring the views. The

Beautiful hotel on the banks of Lake Konstanz in the traditional old European style. Room was comfortable with a small balcony overlooking the garden and pool. Just a few steps away from the train station and easy short walk into the old town. The harbour is just outside the front door with the hotel bar and restaurant enjoying the marvellous views.

It would have been good to have tea/coffee making facilities in the room. Surprising that a hotel of this standard has none of these available. We had to go across to the station shop to buy take out coffee in the morning/afternoon. Even more surprising ( given no drink making facilities in room) that there was no complimentary water offered in the room on arrival. The weather was very hot during our stay and this would have been most welcome. Again, most hotels offer this.

Receptionist needs to be more professional & not make her personal attitudes towards certain social groups less obvious. She either dosent like Brits or dosent like motorcyclist..or both. She gave me the look she might give (every time) when she puts her foot in something brown & smelly when shes walking the back street on Lindau. She needs her attitude re calibrating / re training, she could learn a lot from the young waiter in regards of how to treat a customer. The shower in my room was faulty, the head would not stay in postion on the slider, I couldnt be bothered to tackle Miss happy / smiler in reception to i just placed a sock behind it to jam it in place. 4 star hotel???? very poor. I`m used to staying on 4 & 5 star hotels both socially & with work, the room I was given was a bit dated to say the least, even at the discounted rate but i suppose this depends on how big a chunk of that was taken in commision by B.com

Lovely stay in a wonderful hotel. A special place in Lindau

The location is superb. Right on the harbour. Enjoyed people watching from the Corner Cafe. Our room was spacious and we loved the separate dressing room. Breakfast was good and the pool area, a lovely spot for chilling after an active day.

Location was amazing, facilities a little dated but overall a nice stay. Breakfast was lovely, pool and spa areas were nice.

A few things could be improved for a 5star hotel: - really poor Wi-Fi in our room (either very weak or kept losing the signal) - smart tv did not work and no English tv stations except news (for rainy days) - no tea/coffee facility in room

The location was great! A view onto the harbor and it’s icons! The restaurant was good and the breakfast was excellent, located towards the harbor with great views. The room I’m was cozy, design “classic elegance.”

When I first saw a room it had been clear that a smoker had stayed in it. It smelled poorly and the beautiful harbor view was obscured by faulty blinds which could not be pulled up all the way. Upon notifying the front desk I was given another room which was wonderful.

Nice hotel with beautiful views

The room was very large and had an great view. The restaurant is excellent and the service was second to none! The hotel is close to the train station, we were able to leave in the last 20 minutes and still caught the train :)

The pool looks nice and its probably not a problem, but the water was kind of cold for me. Since the pool is not very big for sports swimming, it might be hard to get used to the water. I think it's just my wrong room choice, and it was shown on the photo, but the split mattresses were a bit annoying.

Location was amazing and the staff were very friendly. The children loved the pool facilities.

Lots of renovations taking place. The bar closed early which was unfortunate. The restaurant was ok, food was good, service was good but the atmosphere was lacking.

Lovely Hotel with great views on the Harbour of Lindau. Very friendly staff, in the restaurant or at the reception. Special Thanks to Ms. Gribner from the reception for her assistance. Room Service was good. Breakfast arrived as ordered, only a slide missunderstanding, but it was quickly solved, so ok.

Unfortunately there was a construction going on in the room next to us, we could hear the noice from the drilling machine, but not for too long. Still, for a 5 Star Hotel i would have expected a little note or in the first place, a different room. The indoor pool was cold.
