Quiet and relaxing

The area is beautiful and quiet, perfect place for a retreat.

Only feedback would be that the toilet room is freezing cold, no heating in there which in December is like being outside! Needs something to heat the room a little.

We will use this place again as it is very nice.

We arrived late on the day and did not have chance to look around. But it is a beautiful location and convenient if travel by car. We did not expect some kitchen facilities in the bedroom but it is very nice to have a fridge and microwave and a sink. The bed is large and comfy. The bathroom and toilet are separate which is good. It was a bit cold on the day and there is an electrical heater in the bedroom.

Pleasant and good value but with some unexpected disadvantages

The property was nice, well decorated, clean and well equipped. It was good for the price we paid. It would be good for a young couple in the warmer months. As an older couple we struggled with the very steep staircase and that the rooms are only heated on the times set for the rest of the owner's living area, so when we arrived on a cold stormy November day at about 3.45pm there was no heating on. There is a small electric radiator to plug in but the room is large. The bathroom is heated by underfloor heating and a towel rail, both of which had gone off before we went to take showers around 9.30am the next morning, so we didn't bother (looks like a very swanky shower tho). The toilet is in a separate unheated room with a roof window that leaked in the heavy rain and dripped on you when using the loo. It made for very rapid visits during the night!

The most stressful and challenging aspect was that the site info and detailed owner instructions were not adequate. I had no idea it was a self check in (it mentioned private check in but not sure what that meant). We were travelling to and from a funeral up north so I had not been online much and it was sheer chance that I logged on to an email address I rarely use on my laptop and found the email with the codes and directions. We used our satnav (built in and updated regularly) to go directly to the postcode given but it took us to a modern housing estate on the opposite side of the dual carriageway. You cannot cross the dual carriageway so after another 30 minutes of circling the estate, back-tracking to roundabouts (in very heavy traffic queues) and trying the phone number given we tried the satnav on our phone - which indicated the correct location on the other side of the road. It transpires that there are 2 Walkers Lanes on opposite sides (probably one lane dissected when the main road was built). So it appears some satnavs take you to one side, whilst others take you to the other side. I would urge the owners to update their instructions to prevent anyone having a similar stressful experience. We nearly gave up and headed home. So we arrived in a storm in near darkness, stressed, to find the room cold and difficult to get to with our arthritis and many bags and food box. All of which has probably coloured our view of this property. Had we arrived on a warm sunny day and maybe had some help with our bags, due to the unexpectedly steep stairs, this may be an entirely different review.

Excellent, well recommended.

WE had no breakfast. The Treat was very clean, quiet and lovely location and views. Unfortunately, my wife had a bad knee had to manage with difficulty to the unit. Jacqui was very kind to fetch a valuable which I carelessly left behind brought to the car!!

Very pleasant and very close to the M5

The apartment, for that is what it is, was a delight. Comfortable and well-equipped, even though I did not need to use items such as the air fryer in my very short stay! The bed was comfy, and the bathroom had some great fittings, like a shower with more settings than any I have experienced before.

My car sat nav got me close, Google Maps got me closer after I'd been to the Swan to find out where the property was. The road sign for Walkers Lane was masked by vegetation, which didn't help, but once I was on the right track, all went fine. It may be an idea to use What3words to assist, as the postcode also leads to Croome Cuisine, a nearby business.

A lovely place to stay for 1 night while we went to a wedding in Worcester , peaceful location and very clean The owners were super helpful and had the room ready for us early, so we could get changed after a long journey.

Exceeded my expectation.

Great location for my purposes. The Retreat was very clean and tidy and although situated to enable easy access to a number of major roads, was quiet and peaceful. Directions provided look me straight to the property. Its a great location for exploring the historic city of Worcester and the beautiful surrounding countryside.

The location was perfect. Easy to get to, Peaceful location and lovely outlook. Walking distance of a great pub to get something to eat. Easy access to the motorway.

Fabulous stay 😍

Clear instructions for arrival and welcome from host. Lovely clean room and facilities. Comfy beds. Fancy, but easy to use shower. Very handy location for M5, Worcester, Malvern etc. Additional twin room available at extra cost with shared facilities.

Not a negative at all but just something to point out to others considering booking who may have missed it in the description that access to this accommodation is up a set of steep stairs inside the property.

Very comfortable accommodation in an idyllic spot.

Idyllic location. Amazingly comfy bed and immaculately clean. Owners were super helpful when i arrived as I couldn’t open the key safe .

I couldn’t get the TV to work so some instructions for that would have been helpful. I’m absolutely sure the owners wouldn’t have minded me asking them though but I’m the sort of person who doesn’t like to bother people. As I wanted to prepare my own food for the day ( I was on a yoga course ) I could have done with a sharp knife.

Immaculate condition throughout with a super comfortable bed and amazing shower. Really nice to have a seating area outside. Jacqui and Peter very welcoming and helpful (THANK YOU)

Stairs a bit steep - but that may be my replacement hips! We were there visiting family nearby, but making food may be an issue for a longer stay as there is only a microwave and toaster (plenty of cutlery and plates).
