Lovely clean property in a convenient location

Nothing everything was fine

Convenient location as just a short walk to the city centre. Apartment was nice, homely and quiet.

Modern spacious apartment in a surprisingly quiet apartment building, good location, excellent communication with management and near to Jewellery Quarter tram/train station and Tesco Extra and Express. Very clear instructions given for key pick up and house rules. We felt safe on our two night break here, thank you! Also really liked the addition of the Dolce Gusto coffee maker - just like ours at home and meant we didn't need to go out to an expensive cafe for a decent cup of coffee. No pods supplied but we had brought our own after seeing the photo on Booking.com so not a problem for us.

There were a couple of small issues which I mentioned to the owner after we arrived - they responded helpfully and quickly and I cannot fault their customer service. We did however use the oven once on our second night which worked perfectly well but the hinge on the door is obviously faulty and allows the door to fall to the floor! Dangerous when the oven is hot.

The shower was hot and had decent pressure. I found the double bed to be quite comfortable and the bedding was warm enough. Although the property was a little further from the city centre than I realised, it is close to a Tesco Express and several takeaways/eating establishments (couple of minutes walk) so there is plenty nearby.

I'm not convinced the property had been cleaned before our stay as there were dirty dishes in the dishwasher and the carpets could have done with a good hoover. The sofa bed was not quite big enough for my teenage son so would not really be suitable for an average adult. Also there was no sheet provided for the sofa bed as mentioned in the instructions and there were only a couple of small blankets. The twin beds and their duvets seemed small. There was not much in the way of kitchen equipment which was fine for us for one night but if you were planning to cook a meal, I think you would struggle. Also, the information given when booking implied the property was about 15 mins walk from the city centre. It actually took us more like half an hour which is something to bear in mind if you are carrying a heavy bag as we were. We got an Uber back to New Street the next day which was quick and easy.
