The apartment was in a perfect location, very central and only a few minutes walk from where we wanted to go. It was well presented, cosy and really appreciated the heating being on for when we arrived - this was a lovely touch!

One of the beds had a broken frame upon arrival, which was uncomfortable and unpleasant to sleep on. We also felt the kitchen was missing a couple of essentials - cooking oil, a washing up brush or sponge. The soap dispenser in the bathroom was also empty, with no replacements left. The bathroom could also have been cleaner - marks left on the dispenser and brush tub.

The location was great for walking distance to the BCEC on Hill Street. We brought our own food as it was self-catering.

The cupboards over the bathroom basin were a little low down, but with very spacious storage and good mirrors.

The area.

Upon arrival, we found that the entire house was dirty and in an unacceptable condition. There were maggots in one of the bedrooms, dirty bedsheets (which my family and I had to clean ourselves before we could sleep), hair in the toilet, and an open shower gel bottle left in the bathroom. This level of cleanliness is not only unhygienic but completely unacceptable. There were also only five forks for six people, making even simple meals difficult. I had to chase you by email just to get a cleaner arranged, and even then, they were only sent the day before we arrived—clearly too late to ensure the property was properly prepared for guests. Your staff were unsupportive and showed no concern for our safety or comfort. Instead, I received repeated reminders to vacate the property by 10 a.m., despite the fact that my family never had the opportunity to rest properly in such unpleasant conditions. This was an incredibly stressful and poorly managed experience, and I believe it is only fair that this is acknowledged and appropriately addressed.
