Seafront balcony, lovely spacious relaxing flat

All of it, it really was like you are a guest in someone's home...we had everything we needed, we loved it ..what a welcoming and calming space... wonderful views.

a really nice flat that was so different to the usual managed airbnb. It had so much more character and felt warm and homely. Neil is a generous host.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!! perfect stay from start to finish! I absolutely loved my time at this property in Hastings. The place itself was beautiful, spotless, and felt incredibly welcoming the moment I arrived. The standout feature was without a doubt the stunning view from the balcony — the perfect spot to relax and take in the scenery at any time of day. The location couldn’t have been better. It’s set in a great area with everything you need right on your doorstep. There’s a shop and several takeaways literally a one-minute walk away, which made the stay even more convenient and stress-free. Overall, a fantastic experience and one I would highly recommend to anyone visiting Hastings. I would definitely stay here again!

It's a very relaxing, quiet flat with a lovely balcony on which to enjoy the sea and sky views. It has a very zen feel, filled as it is with masses of books, plants, candles, mineral samples and various objets. It is comfortable and warm. It is a lovely walk along the promenade into Hastings, or you can take any of the frequent buses, all of which go to the train station via either Hastings New or Old Towns. A very short walk in the other direction takes you into St Leonard's or take the bus further along the coast (Bexhill, Eastbourne etc). There is plenty of live music on offer, good pubs and restaurants in easy reach, interesting museums, an active beach-launched fishing fleet and six centuries of fabulous architecture in the Old Town.

The very things which make it lovely also keep reminding you that you are in someone's home. All the storage was full of the owner's possessions; even the fridge had food and sauces in it, and something was leaving a very strong aroma. The instructions of what to do and when to do it were extensive, which were helpful but repeated to the point where I felt the owner was not comfortable with the idea of a stranger unsupervised in their home. The one thing I needed to know, the house number (Eversfield Place is not one building) was not part of the address I was given and I had to phone for it, but Nick answered very quickly. Forget doing laundry as the machine is only capable of a 700rpm spin and drying would be problematical. Be prepared for the lift starting and stopping with a jerk that would jar your spine if you're not ready for it.
