Mim's Cottage

Very sweet cottage, good value in central location. Very clean and well kept. Nice touches like pack of cookies and milk left for us on arrival. Lovely tea set and ample kitchenware etc. nice selection of teas, coffees, condiments. Linen was gorgeous and smelt lovely. Lovely little interior touches like rope bannister, antique collapsible table and chairs. Very well thought out for a small space. Good WiFi.

Very little as it was a delightful little place. This is what would have made it perfect: Firelighters so we could get the wood burner lit (logs & matches were supplied but not up to the job). Lamps for lounge (overhead light was oppressive). The fridge froze everything in it - so if someone could take a look for future renters? The shower could be schizophrenic- scalding hot then freezing cold when you moved the dial a millimetre. Managed to find a setting in the end that it stayed a constant temp. It’s a new shower too so worth checking? Again - tiny little things that wouldn’t put us off staying again.

This is a very small cottage for two people for sure located in right in the heart of a lovely Rye. You are in walking distance from everything that you want to do restaurants grocery stores cafés gift shops. Everything is right there. It’s one of the best places to stay.

The bed is a little small, but nothing you can’t get past

The location is great close to all I needed to see. Property is very cosy and exceptionally clean. All in all I highly recommend. Had a lovely stay and many thanks for all.
