The Tailor's Flat

Very spacious flat gorgeous deco. Ideal area where all shops pubs restaurants are.

There was nothing we didn’t like about the property we have just got back from a long weekend the weather was very hot and the flat was extremely hot only one fan could have done with at least two , also we did buy ice lollies but the freezer section was taped up so couldn’t use it 😕but these are only small things.

The flat was in a great location, it was very clean and the bedroom was lovely. The bath was superb and added that extra bit of luxury. The Fig cafe and Grapevine wine/Jazz bar were in a stones throw of flat and both lovely venues.

If you are a light sleeper like me I'd avoid this property, pigeons woke me up at around 5.30am both mornings, constantly cooing, I think there may have been a nest outside the bedroom window. This obviously isn't the hosts fault, but worth baring in mind. Also disappointed that the ice box in the fridge was broken as had bought ice for some pre-drinks, looking back at reviews it seems this has been broken since 2024!

Great location and a nice flat in general.

When we arrived the flat smelled strongly of damp, the washing machine was filthy and full of hairs, the rug was really dirty not enough towels and bed linen was provided. My partner called to raise these issues and was spoken to in a rude manner. I complained to the person that she spoke to. Whilst most of the issues were addressed, inconveniencing us, no discount was offered. Overall the flat is very nice and well located but the cleaning could be much better and the management company really need customer service training. There are also a lot of pigeons roosting in the roof so you have to be mindful of keeping windows open.
