Super convenient to Rye town. 2 parking spaces.

No long mirror anywhere.

Excellent location. It was very good to have decent parking. The back garden was fairly private with a nice outdoor area for al fresco dining with the good weather we had. The host was responsive and provided the clothes airer I had requested in advance. There was an initial issue with cleaning but the host responded quickly and compensated us. The rooms were spacious for a house of this size. They were decorated and furnished well. The kitchen was modern and functioned well. Despite the hot weather, the house was relatively cool, thanks to the wooded area at the back. The pub next door was very good for dining.

For our young family, some of the furniture was not suitable (= glass tables). The gate was broken so we could not shut it to secure the side area to prevent the children getting outside onto the busy street. There was only one wardrobe (in the main bedroom). We would have liked more crockery and cutlery for our party of six.

Great location to explore Rye and surrounding area. Communication with owner was excellent and we appreciated being able to park our cars at the property earlier than check in time. Welcome pack appreciated.

Only dislike was the duvets and bedding. They were not appropriate for summer weather. One duvet was actually labelled 10.5 tog which is a not a summer duvet rating. On another bed the duvet cover was 100% polyester (not comfortable and not good for warm weather). One of the single beds didn’t have a mattress cover.

Amazing welcome box! Wish we’d known what was offered - maybe a picture of it all as we must have missed the details in the small print. Great location for Rye - just a short walk into town or to the station. Close to Camber beaches too.

Glass furniture not great for kids - particularly coffee table and lovely yellow armchairs actually quite grubby ( though overall cleaning was good).
