Starfish House

The location was great, just a short walk from the sea front, restaurants and shops which made life easy and meant we didn't need a car for the length of our stay. Parking in Lyme Regis is difficult do the parking permit was much appreciated. The house was cosy and bright with enough room for 6 adults to stay comfortably for a few days.

The car park is a little walk up quite a steep hill from the house so it was hard work taking our bags back at the end of the stay. The house is overseen by Sykes Cottages and their messaging before the stay was lengthy and full of information that was generic and not relevant to us. Sykes Cottages also emailed us with a question after our stay and they have been impossible to get in touch with both by phone and email to give an answer.

Great position, lovely bedrooms with comfortable beds but better pillows would be appreciated and ample cupboards. Patio, kitchen and dining room great. Wonderful to have parking permit but why not informed about it prior to arrival? We spent £30!!

Love the light but needed to keep sitting room curtains closed with passers by and bus passengers looking in!! High stair risers so not good for the mobility impaired!! No oven gloves!! Would be nice if bigger and more filled ice trays could be provided plus an air fryer.
