Fabulous

We had a wonderful stay at Little Monmouth Holiday Cottage in Lyme Regis. The cottage is full of character and charm, spotlessly clean and beautifully set out, with everything you could possibly need for a relaxing break. Its location couldn’t be better – just a few minutes’ walk from the sea and all the local attractions and opposite a fabulous bakery. We can’t recommend it highly enough and look forward to returning!

Great House, Great Location, Great Hosts.

The house had everything that you needed ALL the beds were comfortable and the location was amazing just 5 mins walk from everything.

Can't say that there was anything that we did not like. This is a very old house and things are not the same as a modern house, uneven floors, steep stairs etc but you are told about all of this before you book but don't let it put you off (unless you have someone in your group that could not manage the stairs). Just outside the door is the best bakery for fresh bread and couisants (that my grandson says are the best he has ever had, and he's 10 so an expert) and they also do amazing breakfasts, you don't even have to cook.

Beautiful old house in the Old Town of Lyme Regis. Best location, quirky and next to great bakery, independent shops and restaurants and a minute flat walk to the sea. Highly recommended and will be booking again

Fabulous cottage in the best location

Loved our stay in Little Monmouth! The location is absolutely perfect and the historical property has so much character and is beautifully renovated with lots of quirky features. Having a parking space in the centre of Lyme Regis was such a luxury too! Our dog loved the proximity to the beach and we loved all the lovely restaurants, brewery, independent shops and pubs nearby. Leesa was a lovely host and we’ll definitely be back.

Lovely centre of town, townhouse, warm and welcoming, easy to follow instructions and very convenient to everywhere. The Most Amazing Linens and beds almost didn't want to get out of them. 😀 😄

Overall a lovely house and we really enjoyed our stay.

Very good location. Nice to have a log burner. Good size cooker for a large family holiday. Plenty of lounge seating. Good bathroom facilities.

Insufficient facilities for dining as a family together. Very small fridge and no freezer other than an ice box.

We loved the position of the house, close to everything including the beach and town and the micro brewery! The house has plenty of character but all the facilities and equipment for a great stay. All of the rooms are fitted out to a high standard and in keeping decor.

Gem right in the heart of the old town We had a wonderful stay in Little Monmouth it was just perfect for our little family. Coombe street was so convenient for the beach,the bakery (excellent breakfast) and the craft brewery we felt right in the heart of the old town of Lyme Regis. The house was full of character with a quirky mix of period features and modern convenience smart tvs,solid wifi and all the cooking and washing facilities we needed,our little ones found the nautical themed bunk room to be sooo exciting. The whole house was spotlessly clean and presented immaculately with the cleaning and laundry being carried out to a very high standard. We found Little Monmouth to be so emblematic of our favourite quintessentially English sea side town Lyme Regis it made our trip. Highly recommend.

Ideal family holiday in exceptional accomodation.

I liked the location being so central to the sea front and the town. We were also very close to a great chip shop, the micro brewery and courtyard and several pubs. The walk to UpLyme started at the end of our road and i would really recomend this. I loved the character of the building, as it was very old. I liked the decor and particularly stone floors on the ground floor as i didn't worry about marking it. There were great kitchen facilities and lots of hot water and we were a big group staying. Leesa made us extremely welcome on arrival. There was a lovely welcoming message and a welcome pack of milk and good quality tea bags, biscuits and wine - very apreciated. Bed linen was clean and smelt fresh. Would recomend and will return. The restaurants and menu variety were exceptional in Lyme.

Eating within the property for a large group was difficult. But i knew that in advance and we knew we would need to be flexible with some at the kitchen table and others on the sofas eating on their knees. It wasn't a problem, but you should be aware of this.
