Cosy stay, we loved every moment

It was super clean, we found an amazing hamper for us on arrival with some yummy treats and drinks. Great location, could hear the sea from our bedroom. Lots of helpful things in the kitchen like bowls and cutlery for the kids. Nice appliances for example kettle was perfectly descaled (much better than mine at home lol!) loved the sun room where we could drop coats boots etc so living room was kept tidy.

Fantastic stay in Lyme Regis.

All very easy once we found the entrance. Great location right by the beach (no sea view though). Lovely and warm in the winter. Love Lyme Regis! Loads to do with theatre, cinema, Lovely cafes and bars etc. We enjoyed storm Ingrid and wave watching!

Have to pay for off site parking but not a problem. Steps unsuitable for some people but OK for us.

Gorgeous flat in the heart of Lyme Regis

Lovely flat in an excellent location. The place was really warm and the beds were really comfy. The welcome basket with local goodies was a really nice touch. The secret passage to the beach was really handy. We didn't need to use the car for the whole of our stay. The hosts were quick to reply to any questions.

There were a few cobwebs and the kitchen cupboards /drawers could do with a deep clean inside. Flat tenants upstairs were very noisy - lots of banging around. Probably not the best of places for someone with mobility issues but this wasn't a problem for us. Over all an excellent stay and we would definitely return

Location was great. Clean, tidy and cosy

Maybe would help to have a basic pantry of cooking essentials, for example cooking oils and basic herbs and spices. And although the hamper was great, a small pint of milk would also be helpful

So close to the beach. Lovely property with everything needed for holiday accommodation. Comfy beds and very quiet.

Floor needs repairing although my granddaughter liked making tunes on it. Shower screen leaked on the floor a bit.

Amazing stay near the beach

We thoroughly enjoyed our brief stay in the lovely accommodation. Perfect location, close to the beach/shops/restaurants, perfect stay for a family and a very warm welcome from the friendly host/owner who gave us a welcome pack.

The shower glass door needs to be sealed due to water leakage. The front door is difficult to lock—downside, noisy occupants upstairs, thumping as they walk around.

Lovely short break in hilly Lyme Regis

Flat was warm and spacious, with a well-equipped kitchen, comfortable bed and plenty of storage space. Host was very helpful when we needed to call. Loved the south-facing porch - nice place to sit with a book and a drink, also useful for drying off anything damp!

Disappointed that, despite it's address, it wasn't on the seafront and there was no view of the sea, only roof-tops and the backs of houses. Access was via a flight of steep steps or a narrow sloping pathway, which was not clear from the original description.

Absolutely fantastic!

Bright, warm and really cannot beat the location, just a few metres from the beach (down some steps and through the secret door). This was lovely, as it meant the flat was *very* quiet! Lots of character, comfortable beds, bright and actually more spacious than it appears online. My friend and I were only staying one night, but loved it so much we sent a cheeky email the next morning to ask if we could stay on. Unfortunately, it was already booked, but I will be keeping an eye on the website for a revisit. Absolutely fantastic!

Disappointing.

The apartment is spacious and the kitchen well equipped.

Teflon cooking pots are scratched. The frying pan in particular should be replaced. There is no proper handle on the toilet tank - just a screw intended to hold the handle. The towel rail is missing a screw which means that it falls down when you take the towel off. The towels and bedding are apparently washed in some vile chemicals that give off gases so anyone with even a slight sensitivity to chemicals should be aware of. The floor tiles are VERY loose in places and potentially hazardous. There was a left-behind sock in the master bedroom, in plain view. The bathroom could use a good clean where the floor meets the walls. The arm of the slip cover on one of the couches was very grubby. No light bulb over the table and no batteries in the radio. Steps down to the sea are very deep and the narrow lane from the other door would be extremely difficult for anyone with mobility issues to navigate. The door from the main street side is tricky to lock and took us several tries each time we left the property. Finally, despite the images on the site, there is no sea view from the apartment - only a thatched roof. I noted that some of these concerns had been written in the guest book and clearly not attended to

A wonderful hidden gem

The little treat upon entry was lovely, the host was very helpful in finding the location and the door directly to the coast was absolutely wonderful, it was calm, peaceful and had some wonderful facilities available, we will be back.

Nothing to really complain about, a little difficult to find at first but this wasn't a fault of the owners as my phone had terrible signal where we were the morning before arriving so I had no instructions.

Steps were tricky with luggage & when wet. A little bit of dirt. Freezer part of fridge very frosted up. Hot water an issue, but quickly resolved. One full toilet roll not enough.

A cosy, private flat in the perfect location - great for a family stay.

Fantastic location and was perfect for our stay - clean, comfortable beds, lots of space and light. A well-equipped kitchen. The bedrooms were well kitted out - liked that the one our child stayed in already had blackout curtains and there were dvds / games too. Really thoughtful hosts!

Enjoyable. Restful. Peaceful.

My sister and I much enjoyed our 2 night stay to celebrate her retirement birthday. The flat is so well located for everything and creates a lovely calm atmosphere with its neutral decor. The doorway down the steps to the seafront is an added bonus. We enjoyed sitting on the box seat in the little conservatory to drink our tea ! The ‘Welcome’ basket was lovely .. a nice touch . We will definitely come again as there is so much in the area to see and explore and even though we both only live an hour away from Lyme Regis it is lovely to actually stay rather than a day visit. We did a lot of walking including the route to Uplyme which we followed from the map in the basket of ‘places to explore’ .

A comfortable and well located apartment. Pleasant. Light rooms with good decor. It is located near to the centre of the town which was very helpful.

Access was difficult for my partly disabled sister but we knew this beforehand but we managed.

Our 4 night stay

Fantastic location as so close to beach but also the shops too. Really lovely apartment with lovely touches such as a welcome hamper :) We found the pictures from other travellers of the access from the shops helpful hence why I have also added a photo of the alleyway as I didn't feel it was as narrow as some have described it and we had no issues carrying out bags to and from :) Also we parked in the NCP carpark for £12 for 24 hrs using the app and it was about 3 minutes away from the apartment and we were happy to pay the extra cost (more than the other carparks further away) as it was so convenient.

Amazing, already rebooked!

The property was so close to the seafront, listening to the waves as you fall asleep was amazing. It was clean, well stocked and I had brilliant communication with the hosts.

The only thing would be maybe having an extra set on keys in the flat in case parties want to separate and return at different times in the day

Such a shame!

Good position, middle of the town and easy access to the beach. The owner was very friendly and contacted us to ask what milk we wanted and left a gift basket. How to find the property and get in were good.

The bathroom was not clean, there was someone else's toe nail on the floor. The flat was very dusty. The parquet flooring was lose in areas and if you did not wear footwear it pinched your feet. A number of plates in the kitchen were chipped and the outside area furniture was very rusty and did not look safe.

Perfect location, very helpful and attentive owner!

The location was perfect for both visiting the shops or the beach! When the washing machine didn’t work the owner very kindly washed and dried our children’s clothes for us!

Water pressure isn’t great the tap tan in the kitchen every time the toilet was flushed, but didn’t spoil our holiday at all

Absolutely fantastic.

The property was very spacious and clean. The location was fantastic. Our hosts were most welcoming and very responsive to queries. There was a lovely little welcome hamper left for us as well which was a wonderful touch. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Nothing really to list here expect maybe the door handles inside need a bit of attention as some were a bit wobbly and the front door was a bit challenging to lock initially as the key needed to be turned quite hard. Our host explained what needed to be done and it did get better as we got used to how the locking mechanism worked.

A lovely stay all in all.

Great location. Nice little welcome basket. Lovely porch is a nice spot to lounge. Nicely laid out accommodation with both bedrooms on separate sides of property. Kids slept pretty well.

All furnishings and equipment felt pretty tired. Odd noisy plumbing -flushing the toilet makes the kitchen tap run. Nice to have playing cards and quiz box but these just caused frustration/bemusement. Two decks of cards with different coloured backs both turned out to be incomplete. Topical quiz from 1995 -my parents would know the questions perhaps :-)

Lovely flat next to Lyme Regis beautiful beach & pubs cafes and shops , the flat was comfortable and very clean had everything we needed .
