A great location, interiors need an update
Location was fantastic
The layout of bedrooms and bathrooms were a very odd layout with one bathroom 2 floors below the bedroom in the basement. That bathroom was very cold and felt damp. Furnishings were very tired. Whole place could do with a revamp.

Fantastic location, amazing property to stay in with so much character. Stunning views, right on the beach, and within 5 mins walk of the town centre, bars and restaurants. Lyme Regis is a brilliant place to visit, and Sundial House was the perfect place to spend a long weekend with family. Great communication from Mark the owner, who provided all the information we needed up front, and got in touch on the day we arrived to check everything was ok.

Location, Location, Location!
Superb Location, walkable to all amenities, restaurants and shops. Across from the beach. Peaceful. Great views. Children enjoyed the location very much. The private terrace at the front of the house was very nice and gains a great deal of sun. We were able to have coffee on the terrace in the mornings whilst viewing the children enjoying the adjacent beach. The property felt secure. Plenty of towels, kitchen accessories. Our favourite room was the dining room which opens from the kitchen. We spent many moments enjoying the views. We left the property and forgot some clothing items in the drawer. The host kindly posted them back at no cost. We appreciated this gesture. Everyone stops to look at the exterior of this historic property as it really is very unique and pleasing to see.

Wonderful place to spend some time - fab house, fab location.
Location was wonderful, right on the sea front with amazing views from the front of the property. Rooms nicely furnished and all bed lined and towels were included. Good welcome manual giving details for heating, etc, which was helpful for November. Great cafes and restaurants nearby. Recommend the Mark Hix restaurant - book well in advance if you're coming here. Wonderful house to spend time in with good friends. Would be very happy to come here again. Great place to people watch from the terrace with a cup of tea or glass of something cold!
Be aware there are lots of stairs in the house - 4 floors!! We were totally OK with this but if you were coming with elderly parents, would need to consider this.
