Hotel The Loop

The property is in a great location. Away from the hustle of the main Shinjuku area near the train station so it feels like you can wine down. We stayed in the suite and it was a great size and value for the money. Our friends stayed at APA hotel and these rooms were nicer modern and more spacious. The staff were friendly and there’s a great coffee breakfast place across the street that also serves alcoholic drinks. Would love to figure out how to book directly because it is cheaper.

Modern room, Modern facilities (Japanese toilet and bath), Spacious enough for two, TV and as we stayed more than 1 night we got free drinks ( 1x each person, per night ). Check in is late (5pm) but we were able to store our luggage there and come back in at check in time.

We loved how close the location was to popular spots, but also far enough away that it was quiet. We also loved how helpful and friendly the staff was! The shower room in the room was massive!

The rooms are smaller but this is typical for Japan and I would say that our room was actually probably larger than a lot of rooms you could book in the area. Not much we didn't like!

Location - easy walk to Shinjuku proper and train stations

Small rooms, no facilities to make up for this like other similar hotels (did have some poor offerings in foyer).
