Das Appartment ist super ausgestattet. Die Lage ist perfekt, in einem Haus direkt am Platz des Cardeurs, auf dem echt was los ist, wohnt man nach hintenraus super ruhig. Gerade als Alleinreisende ist man so nah am Geschehen. Natürlich ist es in einem alten Haus ohne Aufzug (manche Bewertungen sind nicht zu verstehen😱)Authentisch mitten in Aix…bekommt man glaube ich fast nichts Besseres…Zumal nach dem alten Treppenhaus 2er Stock der Luxus mit Spülmaschine und Co und Ruhe einfach großartig ist. The studio was very calm and beautifully decorated just as the pictures show.

The checkout time is kind of early.

The studio-apartment is well lit and has a small kitchen and a nice small balcony. The balcony was the high point of the place. It has a small round table and two chairs and invites you to sit down for breakfast and contemplation. That was great. The apartment location was very central as well.

The first annoying thing was the check-in time being in 15h and no place within the building to keep our luggage until then. We arrived early morning. The place recommended by the house owner was closed. We had to roll down some blocks with the luggages to find the next storage place. Very inconvenient. We didn't like the bed pillows as they are more like "sofa pillows" (too soft and low) rather than proper sleeping pillows. In the bathroom, it would be nice if the shower-head could be attached to the wall so one could shower with both hands without closing the water. I imagine it should feel cold to shower there during winter: you have to water yourself, close the water, soap your body in the cold, and then open the water again to rinse the soap. This is a great method for saving water though. We also found the house owner unpolite. At the end of our trip, I messaged him on whatsapp to give these two feedbacks about the low pillow and the shower-head fixture. He must have taken some offense on that because his reply was to say that in two years of rent nobody had ever complained about the pillows and that he doesn't want to fix the shower-head to the wall because it would water the whole bathroom (something that is not necessarily true as there is a shower curtain already installed that should be enough to prevent water coming out). He also pointed that I didn't turn off all the lights before I checked out. I disagree with that. He also said I didn't close the balcony door. I precisely remember checking all the lights in the apartment and I, myself, closed the balcony door. All that said, I find his behaviour unpleasant as I was just giving a simple feedback about the apartment and ended the note saying how lovely tha balcony was. A nicer host would register the feedback, consider it and move on. Finally, the check-out time is too early: 10h.
