A nice apartment in the centre.

A well equipped apartment in the historical centre.

Second floor without lift.

Would stay again.

City Center, perfect location. Building old, obviously, but location was excellent 43 steps to the front door. Great exercise. Host was always quick to respond and answer questions. She even replaced washing machine when it developed a problem, and it was done immediately.

Does not have sink in toilet room, Hand sanitizer would be great. Could use a new rug and shower head.

We loved our stay and would love to return.

We loved the authentic French feel to the apartment. We loved having way more space to relax compared to a hotel room. The location was superb for exploring Aix en Provence.

The climb up to the apartment was difficult for my 82 year old dad.

Well equipped one bedroom apartment in central Aix

A traditional apartment,centrally located in the old town of Aix, with pretty streets and restaurants all around. The apartment is well equipped with a clean bathroom, small kitchen and fridge and washing machine with washing pods provided - our group of 3 really appreciated this. There is a long sofa bed that sleeps one in the lounge room and a double bed in a separate bedroom. We were able to leave our bags in the apartment at lunchtime before it had been cleaned, which we very much appreciated The host Laura was very responsive

The bedroom needs refurbishing. The bed had a big lump in the middle where the mattress stuffing seems to have spilled out, and the linen isn’t very nice and needs to be replaced. In the living room there was a second smaller pull out bed and we weren’t sure initially if that was the sofa bed we should use for the third person in our group. It would have meant that the sofa could have been kept free for sitting on. But when we tried to assemble it we couldn’t get it to work.

Basic, rustique accommodation with excellent location.

Excellent location in the heart of Aix!

Ok cleaning but old interior so not exactly super fresh feeling. Poor lighting and a bit inconvenient with separate toilet without basin. Only a very small window in the bedroom and terrible cheap-cheap pillows (the bed ok though).

The apartment is very comfortable and is equipped with cutlery, cleaning stuff and other things needed to spend several days. It is in the center of Aix-en-Provence within walking distance to public transport, restaurants, shops... We enjoyed very much our stay here, also Stephanie was really nice :)

We had to keep the air conditioner (heat) and heater from the bathroom on during long periods of time, because otherwise the apartment was cold. There were some lightbulbs that didn't switch on. Also, a little bit more of cleaning would have been needed (cutlery + bathtub).

Nice and helpful owner, good communication. Excellent location. Spacious lounge/breakfast area. Clean and well appointed apartment.

Only very minor points. The lounge wall light didn't work so room was rather dim at night. A washing pod would have been welcome.

The bedding provided was not clean and the bathroom could definitely have been cleaner. No airconditioning in the bedroom so was very hot to sleep.

Would have been fine and unremarkable if the AC worked.

It was perfectly functional apart from the AC, wonderful location in beautiful Aix old town. The owner was quick to respond to help get the AC working.

I appreciate that the French don’t really use AC, as it’s really wasteful. However, as we are used to cooler temperatures it’s difficult for us to sleep when it’s really hot. The AC didn’t work at all the first night. The owner was quick to respond the next morning to get it working, but even when it was functioning it did not meaningfully cool the apartment. We may have just been better off with the windows open. We didn’t sleep much the two nights we stayed. Some of the furniture is also worn, but other than the AC, the apartment would have been fine.

A little gem in the heart of the old town.

The location was excellent, down a quiet side street in the heart of the old town. The apartment was clean, very well equipped with both the double bed and sofa bed being very comfortable.

No hand basin in the toilet, but being a compact apartment the bathroom was close by to wash your hands. We traveled lightly so the stairs were not an issue, however those with large heavy baggage mobility may find access more difficult.

The appartment was perfect for our family holiday. Both owner and caretaker were fabulous. We loved it. Parking in the place cardhurs was the easiest. Restaurants fabulous and the bakery almost by the front door.

Séjour mitigé.

La proximité du centre.

La propreté ( rasoir sous l evier, lait dans le frigo, carte de jeux par terre, poussière sur les tabourets....), l appartement même si au niveau couchage est prévu pour 4, c est pour 2 (repas a 4 difficule et l armoire permettant d entreposer les affaires est pris par du linge, des couettes, le lit bebe....) . Il est important de réparer le radiateur, risque électrique. Et je n ai vu personne de mon arrivée a mon depart c est du Airbnb. Et pas de chance pour nous, une fête a ete organisée dans un autre appart a cote du notre, du bruit jusqu a 3h du mat.

Family Vacation: Roadtrip through Provence

Localização central e próximo de parque de estacionamento e bares/restaurantes. Chegamos num sábado à noite (ruas cheias de gente) e, apesar da dificuldade em encontrar o locker correto que continha a chave, o staff atendeu a chamada telefónica e enviou informação mais detalhada.

Apartamento pouco limpo, descuidado, cheio de pó, cozinha com restos de comida e microondas sujo, casa de banho por limpar (cabelos no teto da casa de banho??) As fotos do site foram tiradas quando o apartamento era novo. Agora está descuidado. Tivemos limpar a cozinha para podermos jantar, que encontrar a box de TV e monta-la, tivemos que montar o Berço (que tinha sido solicitado aquando da marcação) e aspirar a sala para que fosse possível dormir (por causa do pó) Roupa de cama com aparecia de ter sido lavada, seca e dobrada (sem ser passada a ferro). No geral demonstra algum descuido e necessita de um refresh e mais limpeza. Comparando com outros sítios onde ficamos nesta viagem, pela qualidade/preço, este desiludiu.

Les équipements, l’emplacement, la disponibilité de l’hote

Certains équipements nécessitent d’être rafraîchis ceux ci donnent un sentiment que l’appartement est sale (tapis au sol, cousin, draps de lits) +baignoire rayés et plafond de salle de bain sale avec des cheveux collés au plafond. Nous avons eu un problème de connexion au wifi mais pour une nuit nous n’en n’avions pas l’utilité.

Appart très sympa en coeur de ville

Le logement est situé en coeur de ville, donc tout est accessible à pieds. Même si le logement est entouré de commerces et de restaurants, l'appartement donne sur une cours arrière et est très calme (mars). Le logement dispose de tout le confort nécessaire pour passer un agréable séjour. Lit en 160x200.

Rien à voir avec l'appartement mais à noter : les parking gratuits à Aix-en-Provence sont très très rares, donc avant de venir sur ce logement avec votre véhicule personnel, voir les solutions de parking alentours avec navettes ou bus.

We hebben er enorm van genoten!

De locatie was prima, zeer centraal gelegen. Rustig. Geen overlast van buren.

Doordat er veel bromfietsen stonden voor nummer twee konden we het kluisje niet zien en dachten we dat het ging om de kluisjes aan de tralies van het huis waarin we logeerden. Toen ik de haardroger wou gebruiken, zag ik dat die in een bassin lag onder de lavabo in de badkamer. In de bassin was er water. (Ergens een lekje van de lavabo?)
