Charming Suites Chiado

La ubicación es perfecta. Está en el centro de Lisboa y al lado de todo lo imprescindible. La habitación, el baño y las zonas compartidas están bastante limpias y ordenadas.

Hay varias cosas que cambiaría: 1. La habitación que teníamos era con baño privado. En este baño hay una ventana tipo velux en el techo que está por encima de otra ventana que da al baño de la habitación de al lado. Por la noche y con la oscuridad se puede apreciar en el reflejo lo que están haciendo las personas de la otra habitación cuando están en el baño … esto me parece bastante violento y peligroso. Tuvimos que bajar la persiana para no invadir la privacidad de las otras personas. 2. En segundo lugar, lo que menos le gusto a mi columna fue el colchón… todos los días desperté con dolor de espalda. La cama es alta porque han puesto un colchón encima de otro pero esto para mi espalda no fue lo mejor.

Posizione eccezionale. Mi hanno fatto un upgrade gratis mettendomi in una stanza privata con bagno privato in un appartamento al terzo piano con ascensore: avevo la cucina condivisa solo con una coppia madre-figlia che praticamente non ho mai incontrato e sentito. Camera comodissima pulita e silenziosa. Self check in e chat sempre disponibile per qualsiasi domanda. Assolutamente raccomandato.

The location that we were put in was very close to the main tourist district downtown. The apartment had an elevator and AC along with furniture and decor that looked modern and somewhat recently appointed.

It is really important to note that this listing is for a ROOM in a SHARED apartment. While this is listed in the fine print after booking, I don't recall this being clear from the listing's initial page on booking.com. The term "suites" and all of the photos attached make it appear that you are going to be renting a place to yourself not a shared apartment with up to 3 other groups of people coming in and out. The listing agents should do a better job of noting this. Additionally, the photos that are listed online may be completely different from the apartment you are actually placed in as was the case in our booking. DO NOT assume that you will be staying in a place that looks anything like what you are seeing. The room we were placed in was nicely appointed, but it was tiny and felt cramped with two people. One of the bedside lamps was broken and there was a roll of toilet paper left on the floor when we arrived that had been missed by house cleaners. Also, if you are placed in this particular location, the bathroom we were assigned to was extremely small and had a putrid odor that never went away despite using the fan and keeping the door open.
