The biggest advantage of this place is it’s location right in the city center. The room itself is very small, but clean and nice. The self check-in was fast and the instruction was given upfront and was clear. The amount of bathrooms was perfect - never had an issue to find a free one, and they were always clean.
During our stay there was a renovation ongoing in our part of the flat - the workers did their best to not interrupt us and were very nice, but we should have been informed upfront about it. The bathrooms are not in the best condition - in one of them half of the shower door is missing and it gets flooded heavily, in others we had an issue with closing the door with old keys.

Excellent cleaning crew as everything was meticulously kept. The kitchen and bath facilities as well as a living/lounging areas to relax and meet other travelers. Baixa creates a comfortable, friendly atmosphere.
Only one area of improvement would be the kitchen flooring-needs updating for safety reasons.

The location is great and beds and pillows were comfortable. towels were changed daily and bathrooms were cleaned regularly.
It is VERY noisy. I knew this about the property going in after reading other reviews but the walls really are paper thin, staff were also sometimes cleaning the bathrooms or other rooms at 7-8 in the morning which would wake us up. Definitely bring ear plugs or noise cancelling headphones to sleep in. The rooms also smelt a bit musty and stale.
