Clean room, excellent window shades and AC; Tiny but, pretty balcony with a nice view of castle and the city;
On-spot communication was clear; elevator works, no issue with water, electricity, etc.; central location in Senegalese neighbourhood
The room is tiny and spartanic, no place for your suitcase, no cupboards, etc. – it was hard to organize properly; the shared apartment situation is manageable, but not ideal with the bathroom being across the common area and a weird camera installed in between (see other reviews).; The walls are very thin, you hear a lot of noise, including when the couple in the next room/next floor throws a tantrum in the middle of the night; not too much goodwill on side of the hosts before the journey; I wanted to cancel or shorten my trip after the cancelation deadline. They refused, which is in their right, but it is not particularly forthcoming.
