Ainola Arctic Hillside

This is an awesome place for an authentic Lapland experience. The hosts are exceptional and the warmest people. They have tastefully decorated the property with a lot of thought and care. The place itself is the first floor of the house they live in. Its on a farm with natural and beautiful surroundings. Its a short drive (about 30 mins) from the Rovaniemi airport. A grocery store (K Market) is about a couple of minutes drive. Enough parking and space for the kids to play. The fact that its outside the city, makes it a perfect place for viewing the northern lights. We were able to get a good show on all the nights we stayed there. And folks have to pay tours operators to take them to places to get a glimpse.

Great place to stay! The apartment was in excelente conditions and the owner was so nice to us. Always in communication with us for anything that we neede, they even let us use their winter stuff to play outside in the snow

Property itself was great. Hosts were lovely and welcomed us when we arrived. The property is well maintained and the location is by far none you’ll see again.

Only thing that would be nice is a dishwasher. But that’s me being picky.

Es un lugar INCREIBLE. Apartado, tranquilo, es una finca familiar con establo, caballos, granero... es increiblemente bonito.

Quizá para 8 personas es un poco justo el espacio, pero compensa con creces el lugar, la anfitriona, la naturaleza... es idilico.
