Stylish and private in the Cathedral Quarter

Lovely compact house. Well equipped kitchen diner, lots of hooks, small but useable shower room. Garden with 2 seating areas and flowers. View across to hills. Particularly impressed with a filter jug of water in the fridge - I arrived in a heatwave. One pint of milk also in fridge. Also impressed by the provision of salt - this sounds trivial, but if you intend to self-cater it's annoying to have to go out and buy a large container of salt.

The breakfast bar chairs were a little low for the bar. In the heatwave the house was very hot during the day despite blinds at all windows.

No parking close to the property but possible to drop off bags and find free parking 5-10 mins walk away

A lovely private location close to the cathedral. Delightful gardens with plenty of space for sitting outside - my older sister told me that it used to be the Biology Garden of the former girls' grammar school opposite! Very clean and well equipped - having a water filter jug in the fridge was useful.

This is an architectural gem set within the most beautiful garden. You enter through a gate into a wonderland. If travelling alone, you will need to pick your own jaw up! It's absolutely stunning. I felt so safe and secure there, that I slept even better than I do in my own bed. Tamsin is a warm and welcoming host who provided many thoughtful finishing touches: a proper pint of milk; Dorma bedding; candles etc. I really didn't want to leave, and spent the journey back up to the Highlands, planning how I could recreate some of that feeling at home! Thank you so much!!

Staying there longer. This could have been the only improvement! It was faultless.
