Disappointed and felt being held to ransom to pay a deposit for this stay. The area, the building the smell and how sma

The property is located in an area which my family didn’t feel safe. The description says this comes with parking but on arrival no where to park and you have to pay £14.50 a day in a nearby car park. The property has loose items in areas and with having to pay a deposit I felt these items could easily break and we’d lose our deposit. The pictures oversell the property and we were all very disappointed with this property in general.

Disgusting

Nothing this is the worst place I have ever stayed beds disgusting sheets looked used kitchen filthy glass table top not secure shower didn’t work smelt disgusting I could go on trust me couldn’t sleep In the bed due to fear of catching something so had to pop to Tesco and buy a pillow and sheet in attempt to get some sleep but was kept up by people in the building all night plug socket began to make a fizzing sound when I plugged my charger in avoid at all costs

A very disappointing stay

The apartment was clean

A very disappointing stay. When I arrived I retrieved the key from the lockbox and went to locate the room. I couldn't find it from the instructions that had been sent to me. I called the number provided and this was answered by a lady who didn't speak very good English. She told me to go upstairs which was incorrect. After 10 minutes I managed to find the room. When I opened the door there was the overpowering smell of cooked food. I opened the windows which were at ground floor level. I didn't feel safe about doing this. The bed was very uncomfortable and the bed linen was very thin, I did not sleep well at all. There was also a lot of doors being banged during the evening from other rooms in the building. The shower had no power with the flow of water. Even though I followed the instructions and switched it on from outside the room the water did not get warm. I will not be staying here again.

I was very pleased with my overnight stay in Portsmouth Harbour. Everything very convenient.

It was a very quiet location and convenient to go out to the Marine Hotel for dinner. Just a short walk to the Historic Port to see the attractions. Would thoroughly recommend it.

If it was four in a bed, no I will not be stopping there again.

The location is in a block of flats which was not very secure, ie the main door is always unlocked. The shower is very poor, does not get very hot and has a pathetic dribble. Yes it was switched on. To the right of the shower cubicle there is a large damp patch on the wall. The room had to many beds for the size of room it is supposed to have an occupancy of five but no way, it would be rather over crowded. It was cramped with the two of us mainly due to the two double beds, sofa bed, and coffee table. If there were 5 people in the studio they would not have the room to put their cloths away , and would be tripping over there suit cases. I would suggest if it had full occupancy you would be in danger, if a fire broke out due to over crowding and clutter. Incidentally there was no information about fire escape routes in the studio, or information about how anything worked.

Appartement non prévu pour 4 adultes et 1 enfant de 9 ans (trop petit, une seule pièce avec les lits et meubles, peu de place pour bouger). les lits sont trop petits pour 2 adultes et les matelas trop mous donc lorsqu'un bouge, l'autre aussi. Un des appartements situé à côté bruyant, la personne écoutait de la musique une grande partie de la nuit donc difficile de dormir. Pas de place de parking a proximité
