Bali Serenity Villa

Responsive staff, with cleaner coming in every day. Pool through the middle of all the rooms is a nice feature. A fair bit cheaper than our previous stay in Canggu.

The biggest drawback are the shared bathrooms. We didn't realise that, for two of the bedrooms, the occupants have to travel *through* their neighbour's bedroom to get to the bathroom. So for two of us, we ended up going outside and using the communal bathroom instead of, say, waking up our neighbours in the middle of the night. This could be completely fine, however, for a couple with one or two children. The villa was a bit older as well, and so certain things need more maintenance. Most of the toilets had flushing issues, and the hot water takes a long time to travel from the top of the villa down to the furthest rooms. Finally, the villa is at the top of a hill tucked away. The location is a bit harder to get to and not close to convenience stores. I think the place might be better suited to four young families instead of six individuals.
