Princes Esplanade-Beachfront House with Balcony a stone throw from Gurnard Beach

The location across the road from the ocean is excellent. Proximity to Cowes is also great. The house itself had good facilities and was well cleaned and maintained. Parking was a bonus although street parking would have worked most of the time

The garden was not cleaned and is quite overgrown. The two smaller bedrooms are very pokey. The managers were not good. Starting with providing incorrect information about local street parking, it progressed to a quite unpleasant check in process (which is automated), missing dish washer tabs, a parsimonious supply of toilet paper and soap and NO shower soap. At check out their (automated ) system created a quite unpleasant situation about check out time for which they never apologized. Oh and paying for early check-in and and check-put given the price charged per day really took the cake.

Location

Not very clean compared to to our previous stay! The house smelt musty and hadn’t been cleaned recently. An old rotting bench on the balcony needs replacing. Gardens are overgrown and untidy
