About this house rental
The Blue House, is a pretty 4 bed cottage, in its own private garden of 2 acres. The house has been completely refurbished. It has fabulous sea views over the Western Solent with a woodland walk down to the beach. It has been featured in Coast magazine.
Located in the village of Gurnard on the Isle of Wight 'The Blue House' has four bedrooms overlooking the garden, a large contemporary living area with vaulted ceiling with a glass and oak gable looking directly over the sea, and a wrap around deck with fabulous views over to the New Forest and the famous sunset.
The bedrooms all feature luxurious beds with cotton sheets and all natural feather and goose down duvets and pillows, the master bedroom has a big en suite bathroom with a walk in shower and glass doors that open on to the deck and the romantic sea view.
The 'big' room has a spacious kitchen and large sitting room with a log fire.
The house is completely private and totally secluded, yet within walking distance of a great pub and shops. Single level makes it ideal for people with limited mobility as well.
The garden by the house is laid to lawn, with sun loungers and a BBQ, there is a trampoline for children.
There is a lovely walk directly down to the beach (owned by the house) through the woods, or alternatively there is also a paved route.

Beautiful home and great size for a large group. The kitchen is well stocked with any appliance you may need and plenty of cups, plates, glasses etc. The beds are all very comfortable. With a four bed house and the amount of guests that allows, it would be nice to have three toilets. This property has two - with one of them being an ensuite in the primary bedroom. The back garden is beautiful and so peaceful with only the sounds of birds. You can see the ocean and all the sail boats going by which is lovely. There's plenty of garden furniture. It would have been nice to have some cushions on this furniture. As far as access to the beach from the back garden to the beach, this is really only an option for young people. It's very, very steep and quite overgrown. Overall, I would recommend this property. It's just not quite as great as it appears online. It's very clean and and the village of Gurnard is lovely, with a great pub nearby overlooking the ocean.

The property and location are really excellent.
But there some issues which the owner hopefully should address.
It needs a needs a little bit of tlc to restore it to a.top accommodation.
