Wi-Fi needs improvement

The whole apartment was spotless. The bathroom was excellent. We loved the whole apartment. It was very spacious and well equipped. We loved the position. Walkable to the station and shops. Just off the seafront.

The key pad didn't work well. We had to key in a number of times, both to get the key and to open the safe box to leave the key. The description said toiletries would be left but there were none. Very frustrating when you have to go out immediately after arriving. The few stairs up to the apartment are quite steep. It did not affect us but guests should be aware even if they have a ground floor flat.

The location was perfect for our week at the theatre Shower / Bathroom was lovely! And it was very clean when we arrived The satin pillowcases was a great touch Loved being along the sea front

Not the fault of the owners but the neighbouring flats were very loud especially above us which was very disruptive during the early morning

Complaint: parking presented as key feature despite undisclosed costs We booked Grande View 7 in Eastbourne for 18-21 February; when searching for a property on Booking.com I specifically selected parking as an important requirement, the apartment was presented as suitable for our needs and parking was listed under the 'great for your stay' header. Having booked the apartment it became apparent that parking was only available at an additional cost. As a result we incurred significant daily parking charges and received a parking fine on the final day when packing up to leave.  Although a reference to 'charges may apply' appears later in the written description for the property; this information was not clearly provided at the point of booking. Had the parking arrangements and additional costs involved been made clear at the time of booking, we would not have chosen this accommodation. I am requesting the Booking.com review this matter in light of how information concerning parking was filtered, displayed and promoted online during the booking process; and advise on appropriate compensation for the additional costs incurred. I can provide receipts, photographs and additional information as proof if required,

Apologies for sending via this method; but it is impossible to find a phone number to speak to anyone at Booking.com. I have raised a complaint through various complicated channels straight after our stay, online, but it has been ignored.
