Maria Cottage with Sea View

Tout c’était parfait.La maison est très bien équipé et propre.Maria est adorable et fait tout pour qui soit bien même si elle est loin.Merci dur de revenir chez nous 😜.

Maria's house is situated in a quiet area a few kilometres uphill from Calheta's marina and beach. The house is very well equipped with plenty of space inside and out. There are two double bedrooms and a bathroom upstairs, and an open plan kitchen, dining and sitting area downstairs. There's a little bedroom off to the side with bunk beds which doesn't have a door but can be screened off. Outside has parking for up to 2 cars, plenty of eating out space with stunning views, a lovely swimming pool and outside toilet which is convenient when using the pool. There are washing lines to dry clothes. The kitchen has all the utensils you could need when self catering and it's very convenient to have a dishwasher and washing machine (the washing machine is located in a cupboard with a green door under the stairs directly outside the kitchen window). We had an amazing time at Maria's place. We were completely relaxed and felt like it was a home away from home. It's a perfect base for exploring the beautiful Madeira island. People we met were very friendly and helpful. There's a small grocery shop and restaurant (Ilidio's) a short stroll away and the owners are lovely. It was a great holiday and we'd gladly go there again. Thank you Maria.

Nothing really. There were dogs and chickens nearby and animals like to communicate!!! Not a problem for us as we have animals at home but if you're not used to animals chatting and you're a light sleeper you might need earplugs for the early part of the morning!

Le bruit de la chaudière (mais qui a été réparé par notre hôte la dernière nuit)

Heel rustig gelegen, ruim huis met alles wat je nodig hebt. Veel keukengerief en handdoeken. Wasmachine en vaatwasser prima! Zwembadje is een pluspunt.
